Ravi who is my classmate is an active boy. He hardly stays at home. He likes to go for a walk around his neighbourhood. It is like his hobby. One day, while everyone stayed in because the weather was too hot, Ravi was out. He was walking happily under the hot sun. Suddenly he smelled something burning. He looked around for clues but found none.As he kept walking, the smell got stronger. He saw thick clouds of dark smoke coming out from a double storey terrace house. Ravi started to cough badly. His eyes were burning yet he tried to look for a public phone. He called the fire station to report the fire. He was as calm as a summer sea. Ravi prayed for the residents of the house to be safe.After 10 minutes, the fire brigade arrived at the scene. Ravi ran towards them and offered his help to the firemen. He was as brave as a lion. Many people gathered near the house to watch them put off the fire. The fire later turned into embers and finally extinguished completely. Ravi was drenched in sweat. However, he was on the top of the world. It was a memorable day for him. He told me about the incident the next day. I wish to be to a brave boy like Ravi.
