Viola Elise Kluck is 12 years old. Her birthday is March 14, 2000.

Vi is the daughter of Dan and Carrie Kluck. Vi has two sisters,

Daely 5 years old, and Carah 23 years old. Vi has eleven cats,

one dog, one bunny and numerous fish. Vi likes art and soccer.

She’s won two soccer trophies. Vi’s favorite movie is The Dark

Shadows. Her favorite book is The White Giraffe. Vi’s favorite

animal is a giraffe. When Vi is an adult she wants to be a veteri-

narian.

Zarin Edward Gardner is 13 years old. His birthday is September

17, 1998. Zarin is the son of Allysa Gardner of Freeport and Da-

vid Gardner of Lena. Zarin has one brother David and one sister

Sage. Zarin has a dog named Shada. In his spare time he likes to

play on the computer. Zarin’s favorite movie is Avatar and his

favorite subject is technology communications. When Zarin is

an adult he wants to be video game designer.

Brittni Starr Arnold is 14 years old. Brittini’s birthday is October 29,

1997. She is the daughter of Gina and Don Arnold. She has one broth-

er Brandon, age 22. Brittni has a Chihuahua dog, named Cocoa. Brittni

likes to play basketball. Her favorite food is chicken alfredo. Her favor-

ite pop is Diet Pepsi and her favorite subject is science. Her favorite

color is purple. Her favorite movie is Titanic and her favorite animal is

a tiger. Her favorite thing to do is shoe shopping. When Brittni is an

adult she wants to be an oceanographer.

Student Leadership’s Lartz’s Shamrocks

The junior high student leadership sold shamrocks to raise money for Katy Lartz to help with her cancer treat-ments. $643 was collected from the elementary and junior high. Autism Facts

Autism affects 1 in 88 children and 1 in 54 boys.

More children will be diagnosed with autism this year than with AIDS, diabetes & cancer combined.

Autism is more common than multiple sclerosis, cystic fibrosis or childhood cancer.

As many as 1.5 million Americans today are believed to have some form of autism.

There is no cure for autism.

Leukemia: Affects 1 in 1,200 / Funding: $277 million

Muscular Dystrophy: Affects 1 in 100,000 / Funding: $162 million

Pediatric AIDS: Affects 1 in 300 / Funding: $394 million

Juvenile Diabetes: Affects 1 in 500 / Funding: $156 million

Autism: Affects 1 in 88 / Funding: $79 million

We are going to do an Autism fundraiser. April 2nd is "Light it up Blue" and the whole school is going to wear blue for Autism awareness.
