OSHA Changes to Rule - Nov. 2016
The Employer must Ensure:
◦ All places of employment, passageways, storerooms,
and Walking - Working surfaces are kept in a clean,
orderly and sanitary condition (a) (1)
◦ Walking - Working surfaces are maintained free of
hazards, objects, nails, leaks, spills, snow and ice (a) (3)
◦ Walking – Working Surfaces are inspected, regularly and
as necessary and maintained in a safe condition (d) (1)
