WARHAMMER 40,000 FRIENDLY

AdeptiCon reserves the right to modify, update, clarify, or change event rules in the interest of making AdeptiCon the best event possible. No fundamental rules changes will be made to the event after 02.01.2019.

THE INCONCEIVABLE ESCAPADE :: BASIC RULES

• Please remember this tournament is a light-hearted event, designed with lots of whacky things going on. In order to help us maintain the friendly and fun atmosphere, we are requesting all army lists must be finalized and submitted for review by 2/26/2019 to info@adepticon.org. If we feel your list is of an unfriendly nature and is not in the spirit of this tournament, we will kindly be asking you to modify your force a little. Please note, if you are looking for a serious tournament, this is not the one for you! AdeptiCon offers plenty of serious tournaments and you would be better off seeking out a ticket for one of those.

• Armies will consist of 1500-points or less, must be Battle-forged (no Unbound armies), and may be constructed utilizing the following:

1 Fortification (if permitted by force organization) Lords of War are NOT allowed in this event – Lords of War are inconceivable! Armies MUST BE Battle Forged

• Players MUST use the same army list throughout the tournament. • Warhammer 40,000 8th edition Indices and Codices released prior to February 22nd, 2019, and Chapter Approved

2017, are allowed in this event. Material from Horus Heresy books IS NOT allowed in this event. • Forge World army lists and Imperial Armour units (Forge World) are allowed in this event. All Imperial Armour models

have a maximum Power Level cap of 30. In ALL cases, only the most recently published rules for any particular unit will be allowed.

• The Forge Word Adeptus Custodes Beta Datasheets WILL BE allowed in this event. • The Beta Rule – Bolter Discipline WILL BE allowed in this event. • A typed or printed (i.e. not handwritten) army list is required for the judges and each of your opponents (minimum of

4 copies required. • The Warhammer 40,000 8th Edition Rules and all relevant Official Games Workshop Errata and FAQs will be used. In

the case of a conflict between printed and digital versions, the most recent update/FAQ will take precedence. • Please contact us at 40K@adepticon.org to submit questions concerning this event. • Each player must bring a Warhammer 40,000 rulebook, the most currently published rules for all units represented in

their army and all materials needed to play a game/report the results - including dice, measuring devices, and a writing implement.

• All players are expected to abide by the AdeptiCon Conduct Policy. • The models used in your army must comply with the AdeptiCon Model Policy (all models MUST be WYSIWYG and 3-

colors). Please also see the Model Policy update with regard to Forge World. • If illegal units or rules violations are found in a player's list, at a minimum, the models in violation will be removed

from all subsequent play. Tournament points may be deducted and award eligibility may be forfeited. Please use the feedback form on the AdeptiCon 2019 website to ask any questions you or your club may have regarding rules issues or legal units in advance!

• AdeptiCon Tournament Judges' and Officers' rulings are final and arguments or poor conduct by players will not be tolerated. AdeptiCon reserves the right to remove players from the event or AdeptiCon itself with no refunds allowed.

SCORING AND AWARDS Scoring and awards are have always been fast and loose during The Friendly. Yes, we will be scoring the games, appearance and all that…but really you shouldn’t worry too much about it. Scores will be secondary to the experience!
