Veteran Dog Class will be for Dogs 7 years old and over. Veteran Bitch Class will be for Bitches 7 years old and over.

Best in Bred-by-Exhibitor Classes will be held following the Best of Breed competition of each of the morning and afternoon Shows. The 1st place Dog & Bitch from the Bred-by-Exhibitor classes will compete.

BEST OF BREED COMPETITION The Judge will award up to 4 Awards of Merit and Select Dog/Bitch following Best of Breed Judging.

AKC NATIONAL OWNER-HANDLED SERIES COMPETITION Must be owner-handled by a non-professional handler. Must be marked on entry form at time of entry. Follows Best of Breed Judging.

FOUR-TO-SIX MONTH (Beginner Puppy) COMPETITION Must be handled by a non-professional handler. AKC Registration OR Litter Number. Exhibitors should open their dog’s mouth for examination. Males with undescended testicles need NOT be excused but CM points will be withheld. No taping, gluing or stitching allowed in the ring. Class NOT divided by sex.

Parade of Champions, Title Holders, Veterans, Rescues (Non-Competitive) Dogs entered in this class need not be entered in a Regular Class. This class will not be judged. Cut downs welcome. A history of the dog, limited to 50 words (show committee reserves the right to edit) is required. Each dog will receive a ROSETTE IMPRINTED with his/her name.

MORNING (AM) SWEEPSTAKES RULES

1. The Sweepstakes are open to all Yorkshire Terriers 6 to 18 months who are also entered in the

REGULAR MORNING (AM) classes. Champions of record are not eligible. Entry to be made at the SAME TIME as entries for the Regular Classes and on the regular official entry form that should be marked "Sweepstakes" (State Age) in the space provided for "additional classes".

2. Sweepstakes fee is $10.00 plus $22.00 for regular puppy classes (6-9 month, 9-12 month) or 3. Sweepstakes fee is $10.00 plus $32.00 for any regular adult/senior class (12-18 month, Bred By,

Am-Bred, Open). 4. The Sweepstakes will be judged prior to the Morning Regular Classes. Classes are as follows: JUNIOR DOGS / JUNIOR BITCHES, 6 months of age and under 9 months of age, 9 months of age and under 12 months of age. One winner will be selected from the winners of the above classes as BEST JUNIOR. SENIOR DOGS / SENIOR BITCHES, 12 months of age and under 15 months of age, 15 months of age and under 18 months of age. One winner will be selected from the above classes as BEST SENIOR. The BEST JUNIOR will compete against the BEST SENIOR to determine GRAND SWEEPSTAKES WINNER.

INSTRUCTIONS 1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e. Cocker Spaniels (Black, ASCOB, Parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in, over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (Longhaired, Smooth, Wirehaired), Bull Terriers (Colored, White), Manchester Terriers (Standard, Toy), Chihuahuas (Smooth Coat, Long Coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (Toy, Miniature, Standard), Collies (Rough, Smooth). 2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed Competition. Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owner's records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the dog show class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e. age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on the entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to AKC. (For complete rule refer to Chapter 14, Section 3).

I (we) acknowledge that the "Rules Applying to Dog Shows" and the "Rules Applying to Registration and Discipline" and, if this entry is for an obedience trial, the "Obedience Regulations", have been made available to me (us), and that I am (we are) familiar with their contents. I (we) agree to hold the AKC and any AKC approved judge harmless from any legal claim resulting from said AKC judge's action under the Rules, Regulations and Guidelines. I (we) agree that the club holding this show or obedience trial has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem to be sufficient in consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of the show or obedience trial and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prize money, ribbons or trophies. I (we) agree to hold this club, its members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or show secretary and any employees of the aforementioned parties, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or upon the show or obedience trial premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of this dog by disappearance, theft, death or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to the dog, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage or injury, be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the club or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes. INSTRUCTIONS 1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e. Cocker Spaniels (Black, ASCOB, Parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in, over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (Longhaired, Smooth, Wirehaired), Bull Terriers (Colored, White), Manchester Terriers (Standard, Toy), Chihuahuas (Smooth Coat, Long Coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (Toy, Miniature, Standard), Collies (Rough, Smooth). 2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed Competition. Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owner's records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the dog show class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e. age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on the entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to AKC. (For complete rule refer to Chapter 14, Section 3).

ENTRY FEE: $32.00 for Morning Show and/or Afternoon Show, for each entry of each dog, except Puppy classes (6-9, 9-12 months) which are $22.00, Parade of Champions/Title Holders/Veterans/Rescues, Morning Sweepstakes and Four-to-Six Month Competition which are $10.00. CLOSING DATE for entries 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, MARCH 18, 2020, at Show Secretary's Address after which entries cannot be accepted, cancelled or substituted except as provided for in Chapter 14, Section 6 of the Dog Show Rules, or when the numerical limit is reached. THE SHOW will be open from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. A$3.00 EVENT SERVICE FEE for the first entry of a dog and a $3.00 service fee for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular recordable single entry classes, and a RECORDING FEE OF $.50 will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. A $2.00 Event Service Fee for the Four-to-Six Month Puppy Class will be required for each puppy entered. This Recording/Event Service Fee is to be collected by the Show-giving Club and paid to the American Kennel Club. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 14, Section 2). These fees are already included in the entry fees above! RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Show Secretary will add a $20.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. ERRORS ON ENTRY BLANKS: Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. NO REFUND FOR DUPLICATE ENTRIES. We will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if a dog has been processed, no refund will be made. CONSULT JUDGING PROGRAM FOR TIME OF JUDGING. DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED for further judging will be excused. JUDGES WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG HOLDING UP A CLASS: Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. The show-giving club and the Show Secretary have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required. ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring. CLASS CASH PRIZES will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of that breed is over and the Show Secretary to be advised at once. The Show Secretary and Show-giving Club may disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over. THE SHOW COMMITTEE/SHOW SECRETARY will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortune to either dogs or exhibitors participating in this show. ADMISSION TICKETS, $5.00 NO DOG OWNED OR CO-OWNED by the Show Chairperson(s) and their immediate families will be eligible for entry at this Specialty Show in any competitive class. SURRENDER OF IDENTIFICATION CARD must be made to the check clerk when requested, for

removing dogs from the show. ALL GROOMING AND JUDGING WILL BE INDOORS. DIRECTIONS TO THE SHOW GROUNDS will be included in the judging schedule. NO GASOLINE OR DIESEL GENERATORS are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tent in which a dog show is conducted.

EXHIBITOR REQUIREMENTS FOR THE HOTEL

1. A $25.00 fee per pet per day is required per room. 2. Dogs must be crated while in the guest rooms and must not be left unattended for long periods of time.

Barking must be kept at a minimum. 3. Hotel towels may not be utilized for the cleaning of the dogs. 4. The dogs must be walked on a leash. Any soil deposits must be cleaned up immediately. 5. Care must be taken not to soil the rooms or corridors, if an accident occurs, clean it up immediately. 6. Exhibitors shall be responsible and reimburse the Inn for any damage done by their dogs or members

of their party. 7. All dog equipment must be kept on plastic floor covering at all times. 8. As all rooms have been pre-inspected, any damages incurred during stay will be charged accordingly.

The club has appointed a committee to investigate any disturbances.

EXHIBITOR REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BALLROOM 1. Show Room will not be available the day before show. Rooms open 8:00 A.M. 2. Smoking will not be permitted in the Exhibition Areas. 3. For safety, cables and wires are not permitted to be strewn across walk paths. 4. Rubber soled shoes are recommended. 5. Private exercise pens will be allowed in the designated grooming areas. Each exhibitor must provide

moisture proof covering for the floor of each exercise pen or purchase plastic from WMYTC. 6. Exhibitors and handlers will be responsible for clean conditions in and around their crates and grooming

area. PET RULES FOR THE INN 1. DOGS ARE TO BE IN CRATES OR EXERCISE PENS WHILE IN THE ROOM. 2. PLASTIC IS TO BE USED UNDER EXERCISE PENS TO PROTECT THE CARPETING. 3. ALL EXHIBITORS ARE TO PICK UP AFTER THEIR DOGS ON ALL OUTSIDE GROUNDS. 4. DOGS ARE NOT TO BE GAITED THROUGH THE CORRIDORS. PLEASE OBSERVE THESE RULES SO THAT WE MAY CONTINUE TO HAVE ACCOMMODATIONS
