Strong show growth

More government funding for water projects and favourable policies to encourage foreign company investment

China will offer a package of favourable policies to encourage the private sector to tap into the country’s multi-billion-dollar water conservancy infrastructure construction sector.

Speaking at the Ministerial Conference of the 6th World Water Forum held during 2013, Mr Chen Lei, China’s Minister of Water Resources said: “Investment will be scaled up in the coming decade and a water financing mechanism with a public budget and revenue as a major channel shall be set up.”

The government is planning to invest USD 636 billion through to 2020 in various projects to harness water and prevent related disasters.

World class show venueThe China National Convention Center (CNCC) offers world class facilities including a 22,000sqm exhibition hall and nearly 100 meeting rooms and a 4-star hotel in one complex. The venue is located at Beijing’s Olympic Green landmark site in northern Beijing and is 26 km and a 30-minute drive from Beijing International Airport.
