    F I RST , S ECOND AND TH I RD GRADE

    YOUTH BASKETBALL HOUSE LEAGUEI you have a frst through third grade boy or girl interested in playing basketball against other area players without the hassle otraveling to a dierent location or every game, this program is or them. Participants will learn undamental skills through weeklypractice and games. Adult volunteers coach all teams. First grade games will have youth size basketballs and eight oot basketball rim

    Second grade will have youth size basketballs and nine oot basketball rims. Third grade games will have adult size basketballs, 10 oobasketball rims and score will be kept. All games will have sta reerees and timekeepers. All participants will receive a team t-shirtand commemorative basketball.1. Teams will be established according to school (Crow Island, Greeley, Hubbard Woods, Sacred Heart, Faith Hope, North Shore

    Country Day and more), there will be no evaluation. When flling out your registration orm please remember to insert your child/childrens school. Otherwise placement on a particular school team cannot be guaranteed. I there are more than 10 children rom aschool, multiple teams will be ormed. I there too ew children rom any one school, children will be placed on a team according tovillage o residence. Due to the number o children in this program requests will not be taken.

    2. There will be a one hour practice during the week. Time, assigned at a later date, will be sometime between Monday and Friday,5:008:00 p.m. There will be two weeks o practice beore the frst game.

    3. Games will be held on Saturdays. Time, assigned at a later date, will be sometime between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Games will begater two weeks o practice.

    All non-members will be able to register November 19, 2012.Registration received through the mail, ax, or in person will be processedby 5:00 p.m. the next business day. The best way to ensure that yourregistration is processed immediately is by using our online registration at

    M e m b e r s h i p I n f o r m a t i o nEarly registration: Members are eligible to register or all classes one week

    prior to the start o seasonal registration. Early registration can be done

    via the web at winnetkacommunityhouse.org, ax or in person at Winnetka

    Community House. Please note: early registration does not guarantee a

    spot in a class.

    Who is eligible or benefts? All amily members in your household are

    eligible or membership benefts. When registering or membership, just list

    your amily members, and they will be included or the program registra-

    tion benefts automatically when registering or classes.

    Membership renewal: Members receive a notice about one month prior

    to the expiration, so the membership can be renewed or the next year.

    Reunds or memberships will not be available.

    Winnetka Community House is committed to conducting its recreation programs and activities in the safest manner possible, and holds the safety of the participants in the highest possible regard. Participarents registering their child in recreation programs must recognize, however, that there is an inherent risk of injury when choosing to participate in recreation activities. Winnetka Community House contrives to reduce such risks, and insists that all participants follow safety rules and instructions which have been designed to protect the participants safety.     ot carry medical accident insurance for injuries sustained in its programs. The cost of such would make program fees prohibitive. Therefore, each person registering himself\herself or a family membecreation program/activity should review his/her own health insurance policy for coverage. It must be noted that the absence of health insurance coverage does not make Winnetka Community House autoesponsible for payment of medical expenses. Due to the difficulty and high cost of obtaining liability insurance, the agency providing liability coverage for Winnetka Community House requires the exehe following Waiver and Release.
