VINTAGE LACE GOWNS TEXTURED CAKES

DIY FAVORS AND DECOR

SPL IT–BAND R INGS

RUSTIC RECEPT IONS

Vintage lace gowns are a classic choice when shopping for your wedding gown. An a–line silhouette pairs well with a more traditional setting while a mermaid or fit and flare silhou-ette fits an outdoor ceremony at the beach or in the country. These gowns are very popular this season and can be found in bridal gown salons across the country.

DIY has recently made its way into the wedding world and it is a great way to save money while adding a personal touch. You can create your own table numbers, decora-tions, or wedding favors. Your guests are sure to be impressed with your crafting abilities!

The most recent trend in engagement ring styles is the split band ring. These beautiful rings with two petite bands are perfect for the delicate bride.

Rustic receptions are a way to have a break from the traditional wedding venue while re-taining a classy and elegant feel. A ceremony among willows with twinkle lights with a can-dlelight reception following is a perfect way to wow your guests. An increasing number of couples are choosing to have their weddings outside at these rustic venues, especially as the weather becomes warmer.

These beautiful cakes are a recent trend that has really taken off. Make your wedding cake beautiful with a little twist by adding some texture. You can request a ruffle effect like the one see in the picture above or have the illu-sion of lace draped over your cake. These new cake designs are the perfect addition to your traditional but trendy wedding.

DIYWow your wedding guests and save the bank with a personal touch in your table numbers

Personalize your wedding by using

something you and your husband

to be love to do together as an ele-

ment in your decor or with your

favors. The diy table number shown

to the left is an example used by a

couple who were book lovers. They

were involved in multiple book

clubs and that is how they met.

Needless to say, books played a

large part in their relationship. The

bride wanted a cute and charm-

ing way to incorporate their love of

books into the wedding.

Each table number was carved

from one of the couple’s ten

favorite books of all time. These

table numbers made by hand by

the bride greatly personalized their

table decor. Each table included a

small synopsis of the book that was

featured on the table. Handmade

table numbers are a charming

touch in helping wedding guests

navigate to their table. Another plus

is the price tag for these table num-

bers. They are a cheaper alternative

for wedding decor. The following

pages include instructions for these

charming table numbers so you

can make them for your very own

wedding.
