Woodlawn has a variety of stunning locations designed to accommodate up to 350 guests for an outdoor ceremony and reception, including a luxury tent and cocktail garden space.
Your venue rental includes access to the Mansion’s exterior event spaces from 5 PM–11 PM, as well as two exclusive rooms for the wedding couple, beginning at 3 PM on the day of your celebration (bridal party access only).
Included in the fee is an open-house, wedding-themed tour of the historic space, offered during your cocktail-hour.
Woodlawn Mansion, built in 1805, by the first Architect of the U.S. Capitol, itself was the wedding gift from George and Martha Washington to their granddaughter Nelly Custis and nephew Lawrence Lewis!
Rental of this property is limited and by special arrangement only.
