Mentre altrove qualche ingegnoso albergatore ancora fantastica sul futuro del turismo integrato, noi stiamo qui in mezzo ai nostri monti e prati, e non possiamo far altro che scuotere la testa davanti a tali ovvietà. Perché noi viviamo la vacanza accessibile ai disabili, auto-determinata e senza barriere, già da molti anni! Per questo abbiamo ottimamente attrezzato il nostro hotel, il ristorante, le camere, gli impianti sportivi e l’area benessere, ottenendo tra l’altro un sacco di riconoscimenti. Bereits im Jahre 1991 ent-stand die Idee für unser 1. Rollihotel im Alpenraum, initiiert wohl auch durch Betroffene im Freun-deskreis und in unserer Familie. Und wir wussten von Anbeginn, dass es für ein wirklich perfektes Urlaubshotel ohne Handicap weit mehr bedarf als einiger kosmetischer Eingriffe. Erst mussten einmal einige Barrieren aus den Köpfen genommen werden. Dann mussten wir die Funktionalität im gesamten Hotel bis ins kleinste Detail vollkommen neu überdenken - von der Einfahrt in die Parkgarage, über den Personenlift bis hin zu den Zimmern, den Gasträumen und den Wellnessein-richtungen. Und natürlich die Gartenanlage, die Tennisplätze, all unsere Aktiv- und Sportangebote ... alles anders und ganz neu, ganz selbstverständlich! So garantiert das Hotel Weisseespitze einen einzigartigen und unbeschwerten Urlaub voll Aktivitäten inmitten wildromantischer, alpiner Natur. Nicht nur für Rollifahrer, sondern auch für die Begleiter, Helfer und Familienmitglieder!

Movement instead of impediment! A holiday free of all barriers. “An enjoyable and care-free holiday for all” – at the Weisseespitze Hotel that is not just a slogan but an essential component of our warm hospitality. As long ago as 1991 we first conceived the idea of our first Rolli Hotel in the Alps, partly inspired by family and friends with mobility problems. And from the very beginning we knew that you need more than a few cosmetic alterations to create a truly perfect holiday hotel without any obstacles. First of all we had to free our own minds of a number of barriers. Then we had completely to re-think the functionality throughout the hotel right down to the smallest detail – access to the garage, the lifts and the rooms, the lounges and the Wellness facilities. And of course the gardens, tennis courts, all of our sport and activity provision... everything different and completely new, it goes without saying! Thus the Weisseespitze Hotel guarantees a unique, care-free holiday full of activities in the midst of the wild, romantic alpine scenery. Not only for wheel-chair users, but also for their carers, helpers and family members!

In vacanza da tutte le barriere. “Il piacere di una vacanza serena per tutti” – all’Hotel Weisseespitze questo non è solo uno slogan, ma un elemento essenziale dell’ospitalità che vi si sperimenta. È del 1991 l’idea di questo nostro primo hotel nelle Alpi accessibile in sedia a rotelle, sorto anche per le persone disabili tra i nostri amici e familiari. Sapevamo dall’inizio che per un hotel di villeggiatura senza handicap veramente perfetto occorreva molto di più che qualche intervento di facciata. Prima di tutto bisognava rimuovere alcune barriere dalla testa delle persone. Poi bisognava ripensare totalmente da capo la funzionalità di tutto l’hotel fino al più piccolo dettaglio – dall’ingresso al garage passando per l’ascensore fino alle camere, agli spazi per gli ospiti e alle strutture benessere. E naturalmente c’erano il parco, i campi da tennis, il nostro pacchetto attività e sport … tutto diverso e completamente nuovo, ovviamente! È così che l’Hotel Weisseespitze garantisce una vacanza unica, serena e ricca di attività, in mezzo alla natura romantica e selvaggia delle Alpi. Non solo per gli ospiti in sedia a rotelle, ma anche per gli accompagnatori, gli assistenti e i familiari!

And that is the very reason why we have produced, in co-oper-ation with the Kaunergrat Nature Park, a very specialised Rolli roadbook! Concise but accurate to the last detail this handy book describes for you 40 impressive tours. From beautiful breathtaking mountain pasture walks to handbike tours for the sporting, interesting excur-sions, from cultural trips to easy hikes. And of course it comes with a description of the places to call in for a bite to eat, lots of good tips and background information.

Sporting skiers can tackle the Tirol’s new ski complex in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ... And, it obviously goes without saying, there is a complete and comprehensive provision for all people with limited mobility who would like to learn to ski (believe us: anyone who is fit enough for other kinds of movement can learn to ski!) or want to improve their ability.
