lesson in the Chapter5 point quizzes will be given

at the end of the lesson (students may use their notes)

Hands-On Labs Chapter packets should be

brought to school daily

Mini Quizzes

5 point quizzes are given after every lesson we cover in class

Students may use their notes for the lesson on the quiz

Most quizzes are application based

All questions in their notes are based on the questions they will see on the quiz

Tests

Students will be given a week notice for testsStudents should study 15-20

minutes each night.Does your child know how to

study? reread through notes/outlines make flashcards complete a study guide when

given

Homework

Any class work not completed during class time, should be taken home, completed, and brought back the next day.

Written on board Students are expected to write down

their homework as soon as they come into the room

Homework Island Tutorials held Mondays & Thursdays until

3:10 must provide student’s transportation

Grades

60% Tests/Quizzes 20% Labs/Projects 15% Classwork 5% Homework Progress Reports sent home

every 3 weeks Keep track of your child’s

progress on Parent Portal Must maintain a 2.0 GPA ( or

higher) with zero Ds and Fs to attend dances, clubs, etc.
