Study Habits & Communication

I believe in positive reinforcement and a positive classroom environment. This helps create a more productive school year intellectually, emotionally and socially for each student. Students receive verbal praise, written praise and/or special privileges (raffle and team/class incentives) for their accomplishments. I also believe in teaching responsibility. The fifth graders are responsible for turning in their assignments on time, being organized, maintaining accurate assignments in their assignment notebook and being prepared for class.
