This serves as your team’s invitation to the 19th Alaska Football Cup

The 2014 Alaska Football Cup is on its 19th Annual Edition. It is a major annual football event sponsored by Alaska Milk Corporation and organized by the Alabang Football School and Makati Football Club in cooperation with the NCR Youth Football Clubs Association. All past edition of the tournament have been fully supported and sanctioned by the National Capital Region Football Association (NCRFA) and the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) respectively. The tournament provides all football enthusiasts the opportunity to foster and exhibit SPORTSMANSHIP & FAIR PLAY in a competitive, safe and friendly environment and encourages and promotes youth football development our longterm commitment to our youth. The Alaska Cup shall be a forum using football as a common ground for getting all passionate football players together to gain knowledge and respect for each other and where prejudice towards differences are erased and replaced by friendship and camaraderie. 2014 GENERAL TOURNAMENT RULES & GUIDELINES
1. LAWS OF THE GAMES: The Alaska Football Cup is a 7ASIDE Tournament. All matches shall be
conducted in accordance with the current FIFA Laws of the Game except as specifically modified in the tournament rules. The tournament rules are intended to be all inclusive, but it cannot account for every situation. If a situation arises that is not covered by the tournament rules all participants are bound by any decision made by the Tournament Committee. In addition, the Tournament Committee's interpretation of the foregoing rules and regulations shall be final.
2. TEAM ELIGIBILITY: Participation in the Alaska Football Cup is open to accepted teams and clubs
that are registered to and affiliated with their provincial association and in good standing.
The game roster size will be a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 14 players. Any one player may only register and play for ONE (1) team for that particular day; no switching of teams will be allowed. In the event a player is found to have played for more than one team for that particular day, the second team on which the player played for in the tournament shall be deemed as the team that fielded an ineligible player. Any team fielding an ineligible player will be disqualified from the tournament.
3. AGE & PLAYER ELIGIBILITY: Players must be of the appropriate age grouping as outlined by Alaska
Football Cup Rules and Regulations. Eligibility shall be based on the player’s YEAR OF BIRTH and not the birth month. Only those players appearing on the tournament approved team roster will be eligible to play. *GIRLS ARE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY ON BOYS’ TEAMS IN THE FOLLOWING AGE CATEGORIES ONLY: P6, B8, B10 & B12.

4. ENTRY PROCEDURE:
a. ENTRY DEADLINE: Entry Forms must be completed no later than September 8, 2014. ANY OFFICIAL FORM NOT SIGNED AND COMPLETELY FILLED OUT WILL NOT BE HONORED
b. ENTRY FEE: Payment must be made thru Bank of the Philippine Island (BPI) and made payable to ALABANG FOOTBALL SCHOOL. Entry Fees must be received by the Entry Deadline. Bank account details can be found on the official Entry Form. Tournament Entry Fees are not refundable.
c. PROOF OF PAYMENT: Upon payment of Entry Fee a clear copy of the deposit slip must be emailed to the following address as proof of payment. [email protected]
5. TEAM CHECKIN & REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Teams are required to register/checkin for the tournament 60 minutes prior to the tournament proper. Coaches/ Managers shall be responsible to checkin their respective teams at the Tournament Registration Desk located at the right side of the grandstand. Individual players do not checkin.
A team is only considered as officially registered with the Alaska Football Cup upon payment of Entry Fees and submission of all required documents. Schedule of Games & Groupings will be given after the official registered coach of each team has checked–in and has complied with all tournament requirements including complete full payment of Registration/Entry Fee.
* YOUTH SCHOOL TEAMS: shall only register players that are presently enrolled in their respective schools.
• REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED UPON CHECKINGIN:
a. TEAM REGISTRATION FORM: Completely filled out and signed by Coach/Manager. Each team must register a minimum of 7 players and may register a maximum of 14 players. A Team may only register ONE Coach. Only players listed on the approved Registration Form may play in the tournament.
b. WAIVER & PERMISSION FORM: Completely filled out and signed by the official designated
team representative Coach or Manager.
c. PROOF OF DATE OF BIRTH & IDENTITY OF EACH PLAYER: ACCEPTABLE DOCUMENTS
• NSO BIRTH CERTIFICATE – CLEAR COPY. • STAPLE AN I.D. PHOTO to each NSO Birth Certificate for identity purposes. • VALID PASSPORT – CLEAR COPY
The Tournament Organizers reserves the right to request for original copies of the above documents for the clarification of the eligibility of a player.
6. GUIDELINES FOR ALL TEAM COACHES:
• Coaches must review carefully the tournament rules as ignorance to the rules cannot be used as an excuse for noncompliance. The Team Coach shall ensure that all their players, their parents/guardian, and supporters are aware of all the Tournament Rules & Guidelines for strict compliance. Coaches shall be responsible for the behavior of their supporters.
• All team coaches are required to have a TEAM FOLDER containing a copy of acceptable proofof
age & identity documents as stipulated by the Tournament Regulations of each registered player and a copy of the official approved TEAM ROSTER. Folders must be made available at any given time upon the request of a Tournament Official. Failure to furnish the requested proof may result in the disqualification of a player and/or team from the competition.
7. MODIFIED “7 A SIDE” PLAYING RULES
• SUBSTITUTION:
Unlimited substitution is permitted during a game with the referee’s permission. The player to be substituted (outgoing player) must have left the field of play before the substitute (incoming player) may enter the field of play.
The incoming player may only enter the field at the halfway line or at the MidField Line.
• OFFSIDE: No offside rules will be applied • PASS BACK: pass back rule does not apply but the goalkeeper must put the ball back into play
within 56 seconds. • NO DIRECT GOALS:
Goalkeepers cannot score a goal directly by throwing the ball or by goal kick. No direct goals are allowed on throwins or on kickoffs.
• MINI CORNERS: NOT allowed • THROW–INS: ONLY BY HAND.

SEPTEMBER 8, 2014 DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ENTRY FORMS. Forms must be filled out completely, printed legibly using BLOCK LETTERS and signed accordingly by Coach/Manager. Incomplete forms will not be honored.
SEPTEMBER 16, 2014 FINAL DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF REGISTRATIONS/ENTRY FEES. Team slots are only guaranteed after payment of registration/entry fees. A clear copy of the deposit slip for payments of registration fees must be EMAILED OR FAXED to the Project Director as proof of payment.

MANAGERS/COACHES MEETING Complete Tournament Rules & Guidelines will be discussed and distributed to all participating teams during the meeting. For those unable to attend the meeting Complete Tournament Rules & Guidelines will be sent via LBC.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF TEAM REGISTRATION FORMS. NOTE: Teams are allowed to make changes in their lineups prior to checkin at the Registration Desk Site. The changes in the roster must be noted and initialed by a Registration Officer. No replacement of players is allowed once the final registration is completed and submitted at the Registration Desk.
9. DISCIPLINE: All players, coaches, parents, and supporters are expected to conduct themselves in a
manner consistent with the spirit as well as the LAWS OF THE GAME. The Tournament Officials reserves the right to terminate the participation of a team or a player in the tournament if the behavior of their players, coaches, parents and supporters creates an atmosphere in which match/es cannot be completed within the spirit and letters of the law of the game.
ZERO TOLERANCE: There will be no arguing, cursing, gesturing or intimidation with or to the referee. Any infraction of this by a coach, parent or supporter may be cautioned or ejected. Coaches, Parents and Supporters can also be cautioned or ejected, If ejected, they must leave the playing area and its immediate surroundings before the match can be restarted. COACHES WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF THEIR PLAYERS, THEIR PARENTS & SUPPORTERS.
10. INSURANCE: Make sure that all players and officials are insured both on and off the fields. The ALASKA FOOTBALL CUP management does not carry any individual or group insurance protecting participants and guests in case of accident, injury, illness, theft and damage to property. All teams, participants MUST sign the Waiver Form /Release Form before playing their first game. THE ALASKA MILK CORPORATION, THE MAKATI FOOTBALL CLUB, THE ALABANG FOOTBALL SCHOOL, AND ITS OFFICERS AND COORDINATORS AS WELL AS THE ALABANG COUNTRY CLUB are not liable for injury or economic loss that may arise before, during and after the tournament.
