Hours: 12-3 for initially 3 days per week with the flexibility to cover extra sessions when needed. Term time only
Qualifications/ Experience:
Minimum level 2 (although level 3 desirable) in Early Years and Childcare or
equivalent. GCSE in Maths and English Grade C or above or equivalent. Previous
experience working with children desirable. Must have excellent communication,
organisational and interpersonal skills. Will be required to undertake First Aid
training and Safeguarding training.
Responsibilities/ Extra Information:
Work closely with the staff to provide a warm caring environment. To fulfill statutory requirements. Ability to plan and implement activities in accordance with the EYFS. To help set up the Pre-school providing stimulating activities. Be key worker to a group of children, completing observations, assessments and reports using an online learning journal. To promote the health, safety and welfare of children. Be willing to undertake additional training. To work closely with parents. Work with other agencies when required.
