Memorial Sloan Kettering is part of a world-renowned biomedical research complex that includes Sloan Kettering Institute, the Weill Medical College of Cornell University, and The Rockefeller University. The three institutions, which extend for several blocks along York Avenue, share not only many staff members, but extensive library and technical facilities. Staff, fellows, and students have access to shared core facilities and an active calendar of lectures, seminars, and visits by distinguished scientists.

Most areas of the city and their attractions are easily accessible from the Center by subway, bus, or taxi.

Mortimer B. Zuckerman Research Center

The Zuckerman Research Center, also known as the ZRC, houses our programs in Cancer Biology and Genetics, Computational Biology, Immunology, and Human Oncology and Pathogenesis, as well as some of the laboratories for our Molecular Pharmacology Program. In addition, it is the home of many Memorial Hospital research laboratories and the Gerstner Sloan Kettering Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

Rockefeller Research Laboratories

The Rockefeller Research Laboratories building, also known as RRL, houses our programs in Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Molecular Biology, and Structural Biology, as well as the chemistry laboratories for our Molecular Pharmacology Program. Some Memorial Hospital research laboratories are also located here.

By Plane

John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)TAXI: Taxis charge a flat fare of $52 plus any tolls and a New York State surcharge of 50¢. The trip will take 45-60 minutes.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Take the Airtrain from JFK to either the Howard Beach Station, from which you can catch the A train, or Sutphan Boulevard Station, where you can catch the E, J, or Z Train.

LaGuardia Airport (LGA)TAXI: A taxi will take approximately 30-45 minutes and cost $35-$50.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Take the LaGuardia Link Q70 Bus Service to the Jackson Heights/Roosevelt Ave Subway Station where you can catch the E, F, M, R, and 7 Train.

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)TAXI: A taxi will take approximately 45-60 minutes and cost $55-$75.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Take the Airtrain Newark to the EWR Station. From there take the NJ Transit to Penn Station from which you can catch the 1, 2, and 3 Train.

Westchester County Airport (HPN)TAXI: Please call the airport’s licensed vendor, Accredited Limousine Service D/B/A County Trip Service at (914) 200-1313 for more information.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Take the Bee-Line Route 12 Bus to the TransCenter. From there take Metro-North Railroad to Grand Central Terminal from which you can catch the 4, 5, 6, 7, and S Train.

WALKING DIRECTIONS FROM THE BENTLEY TO MSK

It is a 6 minute walk from The Bentley to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

When exiting the hotel turn left onto E 62nd Street. At the first intersection turn right onto York Avenue. Walk 0.3 miles on York Avenue and the hospital will be on your left.

Rockefeller Research Laboratories is located at 430 East 67th Street.

Zuckerman Research Centeris located at 417 East 68th Street.
