    Western Road UB2 The neighbourhood

    Western Road UB2 is a residential street in the rich multi-cultural neighbourhood of Southall. Often referred to as Little India, this vibrant area has strong Indian and Pakistani roots as well as a mix of diverse cultures. Some of our favourites in the immediate area and slightly beyond include:

    1. Southall Market For a fabulous range of fruit, veg and much more head to Southall Market on Uxbridge Road, only a 7 minute cycle away.

    2. Grand Union Canal This calm waterway is very close. You could walk all the way to the Olympic Park if you’re feeling energetic.

    3. Manor House Set around the oldest surviving building in Southall (built in 1507) are these mature gardens. A mulberry tree here was apparently planted by Henry VIII!

    4. Southall Green An open green space for you to enjoy, go for a run or just relax beneath the trees.

    5. Tesco Express Your local convenience store, located just around the corner.
