Rollover causes significant damage to vehicle and homeThe Weyburn Police Ser-
vice are seeking assistance insolving an incident that hap-pened on the Wal-Martparking lot in the early morn-ing hours of July 26. A ve-hicle was parked on the lotwhere the driver was sleep-ing. He was awakened by asound to find that a shop-ping cart had been pushedinto his vehicle with enoughspeed to cause a moderateamount of damage. He sawa small dark blue or blackvehicle leaving the area at thesame time. Anyone havinginformation about this inci-dent is asked to contact theWeyburn PS, or Crime Stop-pers.
On July 26, the WeyburnPS were called to a report ofa domestic disturbance. Asthe result of their attending,the male was arrested fordrunk in public and held incells until sober.
On July 25, at about 1:15a.m., as the result of a trafficstop, a 29 year-old male wasarrested and charged withdriving while impaired.
Also on July 25, at about6:30 p.m., the Weyburn PSwere dispatched to a local

On July 23, the WeyburnPS received a report of acomputer fraud wherethrough a series of pop-upads on the computer theowner was led to a scam site.The owner did not sufferany loss. This is just a re-minder that it is extremelydifficult at times to knowwhich are legitimate applica-tions on a computer or website.
Also on July 23, at about6:00 p.m., and as a result ofa driving complaint, a 57year-old male was locatedand arrested for having careand control of a vehiclewhile impaired.
Further, on July 23, theWeyburn PS received a callabout a child abduction.Upon investigation, it waslearned that one of the es-tranged parents had takenthe child to visit family. Asthere is no custody order inplace, no crime had beencommitted. The matter wasmediated.
Also on July 23, theWeyburn PS were callednumerous times to keep thepeace between a 36 year-oldfemale and 43 year-old malewhile the relationship termi-nated and property was re-moved from the residence.
On July 22, at about 1:40a.m., the Weyburn PoliceService received a call of acollision between a vehicleand a residence. Upon inves-tigation, it was learned thata vehicle travelling west onFifth Avenue N.E., lost con-trol colliding with a numberof objects/fences before roll-ing and coming to rest in aback yard of a residence. The17 year-old driver and 17year-old passenger were notinjured but were examinedat the Weyburn GeneralHospital. The 17 year-olddriver is facing one charge ofdangerous driving. Alcoholwas not a factor.
Also on July 22, theWeyburn PS received a re-port of a suspicious persongoing through a vehicle in ayard. The person was foundto be the estranged husbandof the property owner whohad returned to gather some
personal property.On July 21, the Weyburn
PS were dispatched to a re-port of a domestic distur-bance. They had attendedthis residence a few times in
the recent past. As a resultof this incident, both the 23year-old male and 19 year-old female were taken intocustody. The male is facingone charge of assault and the
female is facing one chargeof assault causing bodilyharm. Each will be making acourt appearance and areon conditions to have nocontact with the other.
