Common Errors I see with your spreads

I don’t see you printing out thumbnails before placing photos – YOU MUST

Once I approve your thumbnails and photo planning then you can place photos

Make sure you have people from all grades – boys and girls and diversity if it’s a general spread

For athletic pages use photos of A & B players and look through everyone’s photo files – not just YOUR photo files

We are seeking photos that tell a story

Common Errors I see with your spreads

For athletic pages make sure you get the final scores from last 2 games and also get ALL players of the week – Check the links on the homepage

Make sure your photos relate to each other if photo boxes are touching – this type of design of photo boxes is called a module

Do not place random photos where we cannot see faces – The DOMINANT photo must tell the story on that page or be a part of the main story on the spread

Delete any photos that look just like the photo you pull for the yearbook spread you are working on – we do not want duplicate photos in the book
