What can I do to support DEAR in my school?1. Encourage your entire school to set aside a 15-20 minute period to DEAR!1. Have trolleys of books available for students to choose from so no one is caught without a book.1. Invite the press to take photos of classes or your entire school reading.1. Invite parents, grandparents, local celebrities etc. to join you as you DEAR.1. Take DEAR on the road. Consider taking a group of students on a field trip and have a Read-in.1. Tweet out what you have done #BCTLA_DEAR1. Advertise the event by sending posters to your staff.1.
