Teacher training for parentsYou will receive a free training packet when you enroll. These LightUnits deal with CLE curriculum structure, Biblical principles of education, and procedures for a successful homeschool. You may take the course by correspondence or during a summer session at a CLE Training Center. A CLE Homeschool Teacher's Certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the training.

Homeschool HandbookThis handbook contains detailed sugges-tions, teaching tips, and answers to many questions you will face as a new homeschool family. This valuable tool is filled with encouragement and resources, including the wisdom and experience of others. Free with enrollment.

Our Program Provides . . .Flexibility & StructureWe offer you the flexibility to enroll anytime

during the year and define your own school year. You will receive a full year of services from your beginning school start date.

Students may work at their own pace. You may purchase curriculum as needed and even use some courses from other publishers. An academic projection guides high school students through the required courses in four years. This provides workable goals and encourages long-range planning.

AccountabilityRecord keeping for all gradesWe maintain a file based on a Quarterly Progress Report that you send us for each enrolled student. We can verify the prog-ress of your homeschool if questioned. Your student's file includes—

▶ transcripts of a student's work from previous schools, if available.

▶ a record of academic work and atten-dance while in our program.

▶ a profile of the student's standardized (achievement) test results.

Report cardsWe will send you report cards for each student on a quarterly basis.

Academic advisor/counselorWhen you enroll, a personal academic counselor will be assigned to your family. Your counselor will answer your questions about Homeschool Plus, and assist you in making decisions that affect your child's education—from beginning placement to graduation with a CLE diploma. All our counselors are committed to caring about the needs of each family enrolled.

Diploma qualifying testA passing grade on this test verifies achievement. Acceptable alternatives to this test include the SAT, ACT, or GED tests. Test scores determine if the student quali-fies for the diploma they are pursuing.

SupportKnowledgeable supportWhen your student is stuck, help is avail-able by mail, phone, fax, or e-mail. We can help with student placement, curriculum questions, and many other areas related to operating your homeschool.

Professional student transcriptsTranscripts for schools and colleges are available upon request for all current or former students. A transcript serves as an official record of high school credits earned and shows the student's GPA for work completed while in our program.
