mmas emphasis on joint worship is well founded on a strong basis that one cannot clap with single hand. If two

Sun Maarkam (Equality): My Child! Do not mock at any religion. Because, all religions are equal. Do not hate anybody. Because, Divinity is in everyone. Do not ignore anyone based on their skin color. B e c a u s e , P a r a mp o r u l ( U n i ve r s a l Consciousness) is in every color. As a Mother, I accept everyone here without differentiating them as good and bad. Seed and Soil: My Child! Seed approaches the soil. Soil does not approach the seed. Similarly, you should approach God and stop expecting God to approach you. Seed seeks Soil, absorbs the energy, sprouts, and benefits others. Whence shall Thou seek Me? Destiny: My Child! I can change your destiny for good. But I normally let you lead your destined life. However, when your faith in Me is unfathomable and you do as I say without giving up, I undertake the work of changing even your destiny. Arul Vaakku (Oracle): My Child! Mother bird searches, brings and feeds its children until they can spread their wings and fly on their own. Oracle (Arul Vaakku) will continue, until people can spread their wings and fly high in the spiritual world. Divine World: My Child! Future world is a divine world. Future governance will be a divine government. Ego and Arrogance: My Child! I forgive all sins and shower My grace and blessings to everyone. But, I will never forgive selfish ego and arrogance due to it. Humble Life: My Child! Bow your head and live a humble and fulfilling life like a matured rice crop.

Ammas Oracles

How Amma Transcends for Oracle: Loga Maha Guru Shri Bangaaru Adigalaar enters the Siddhar Peetam and begins the process of circling Siddhar Peetam. He starts from Sanctum Sanctorum (Karuvarai where the Swayambhu Lingam emerged and main diety of AdhiParaSakthi is consecrated), and walks around the Peetam by circling Himself once each time as He passes Putru Mandapam (hall of ant hill), Saptha Kanniyar Koil (Abode of Seven Angels), Dhyana (Meditation) spot behind Karuvarai, and Miracle Neem tree that secreted sweet milk. He then goes back to His Arulkoodam (Abode of Gurus Blessings) and changes to red dhoti (plain red loin cloth), takes a brief shower and continues with second round by dipping Himself in the water well, where He prays raising His head up and looking into skies with His hands folded in prayer mudra (symbol) in the solar plexus area. He then circles around Neem Tree again, and steps into the Karuvarai where He lights the camphor on arathi plate and gives arathi to Swayambhu and Mother Adhiparasakthi and goes around the deity once. Then He places the arathi plate down and prostates on the ground in full surrendering posture. It is a magnificent sight to watch the Loga Maha Guru - The Beloved Son prostrate in respect and surrender to His Mother - The Universal Consciousness - AdhiParaShakti. He then picks up the arathi plate, walks to putru mandapam gives arathi to putru and prostrates in front of it. Following this He walks to Abode of Seven Virgin Angels and after giving arathi, looks upto the sky with His head raised and prayer mudra in solar plexus area, He talks to seven angels. One has to witness it on their own to describe the beauty and bountifullness of this sight. He then goes around the Siddhar Peetam and comes back to Karuvarai, where He does arathi again and starts to talk with Mother, but this time looking straight at Mothers idol and Swayambhu. With the lighted arathi plate He then proceeds to Putru Mandapam, gives arathi, places the plate on the ground and stands in front of the ant hill, when the assembled devotees start reciting the mantra Venduthar Kooru (Yearning Request), when the Holy Spirit of AdhiParaShakti descends on Him, signalled by both His heels raising up. Immediately He then picks up the neem leave bunches placed in front of Him, gets Dhrishti performed to Him, and then starts walking around the Peetam with His eyes completely closed. He is now She. She is in Him.

To get Arul Vaakku (Oracle)..

rulvaakku (Arul +

Vaakku means Divine + Utterances) or Oracle are the sayings of His Holiness Adigalaar in transcendental state in which, AdhiParaSakthi Spirit enters His body when He becomes She, since She is in Him. In that state, S(H)e delivers Oracle to individual devotees, in which S(H)e cures incurable diseases, solves unsolveable problems, makes the dumb speak, deaf hear, and blind see, gives spiritual guidance (Upadesham) and provides solace. This happens on Fridays, Sundays and Tuesdays in Melmaruvathoor , India. To Hear Oracle: First meet Guru Adigalaar in Mel maruvathoor, India. At Siddhar Peetam, book for Abishekam to AdhiParaSakthi on certain date and you will be called for Oracle hearing. At times, Amma in transcendental state would call people from crowd and offer Oracle to them, even without this process, for S(H)e knows the desparate situations of individuals. All said and done, hearing Oracle is not guaranteed for every soul as S(H)E proclaims, My Child! Dont pride that you are sitting in front of Me hearing Oracle today because you arranged for it. Only due to your bhakti (faith), service and devotion to Me in your previous lives, that I have ordained you to sit here in front of Me today. Truely, there are many even today who are yearning to get Oracle for many years, but havent obtained one, since S(H)e hasnt ordained so.

Sanctum Sanctorum (Karuvarai): The construction work for Sanctum Sanctorum (Karuvarai or Moolasthaanam) at Siddhar Peetam, Melmaruvathoor began on January 19th, 1997, around the Swayambhu. It has been a practice for many centuries to symbolically represent the Omniscient, OmniPresent and OmnitPotent Universal Soul (Param Porul) in an idol form, to foster concentration of worshippers on one object. Adigalaar as a Guru is so merciful and gracious that He understands the mindset of people and so accepted to consecrate an idol for AdhiParaShakti in Mother Form. Adigalaar said, To cross a rushing river one should go along with the stream rather than swimming against the current. Idol worship in this country has been in practice for many centuries. Similar to little children clinging to their toys, when mother is successfully feeding them, Our main objective is to feed them spiritualism. During this construction process, which was undertaken by a contractor named Sakthi Shanmugam of Cheyur (a nearby village), Amma exhibited Her power. Shanmugam was egotistical and arrogant about the perfection of his work. He wouldnt listen to anyone else other than himself. One day when Adigalaar went around the construction place, He noticed Shanmugam has not arranged to either remove the old wall or provide supporting structure to it, while digging foundation strip for new wall, very close to the old one. When Adigalaar pointed out this to Shanmugam, he ignored the comments with the self-confidence the he knows what he is doing. Next day, when the construction workers had gone out for lunch, only Shanmugam and Sakthi Veera Raghavan (who is a very close aide to Amma now), were inside the old karuvarai inspecting around. Suddenly the whole structure came down with a big noise on them. Sakthi Veera Raghavan cried, Amma loudly and fell on Swayambhu, circled his arms around it and covered Swayambhu with his body. Sakthi Veera Raghavan was saved without a single drop of blood and pain. Meanwhile, Shanmugam was severly injured and hospitalized. After recovery, Shanmugam resumed and completed the construction work. Karikolam: Every little thing in Melmaruvathoor is done only as per Ammas Oracle. Till today, Amma guides by giving instructions through Oracle. The shape, size, forma and every aspect of AdhiParaShakti Idol (Vikgraham) was ordained in its minute details to world famous sculptor Ganapathy Sthapathi in an Oracle, based on which he scupltured the Statue. Kari means elephant. Kolam means procession. Karikolam means procession on elephant. In the ancient days, deities were placed on the back an elephant and taken on procession to many temples and sacred places before being consecrated in its temple. Times have changed. So was the method of procession. With AdiParaSakthi Idol scultured by Ganapathy Sthapathy installed in a minivan, Adigalaar began the Karikolam on May 1st, 1977. In this procession, the Idol was taken to devotees houses, where Adigalaar performed Abishekam for Mother in Idol form, for which the trust organizers collected a donation of Rs.108 ($5 in those days) for Siddhar Peetam. The procession continued to visit 108 holy places and on the way collected donations by visiting individual houses. Those devotees who invited the Karikolam to their houses in those days, were not aware of Adigalaar as an Incarnation. Blessed are they, since Adigalaar Himself had performed Abishekam in their homes. Today, millions are yearning

History of Melmaruvathoor - V to receive Adigalaar for such an event in their house. Alas! Adigalaar doesnt do it anymore. Such is the ignorance of human mind. The Karikolam ended on June 5th, 1977, after which the Amman Statue was placed on Nava Dhaanya (Nine types of grains) for three months, followed by three months in water. This six months was a period of energizing the idol with mantras and abishekams. Consecration of AdhiParaShakti Idol: On November 25th, 1977 a full moon day in the Tamil month of Kaarthigai, Annai AdhiParaSakthi Idol was consecrated in the Sanctum Sanctorum (Karuvarai) in Melmaruvathoor in a very simple manner. Amma - Adigalaar presided over the process of consecration in which He made a scheduled caste (considered to be untouchables in Hindu religion) person named C. Ganesan, who was a lawyer then, to perform all rituals. Amma, thus proved to the world that all are equal. That God does not differentiate. Amidst heavy down pour of rain that day, the ritual included a yagna (Velvi) with hexagonal star chakra and triangle yaaga gundam (fire sacrifice pit). Nine kalasams were placed on hexagonal star. Amma made this yagna complete successfully, without the yaaga gundam being wet by rain. Amma said, All Devas, Devathas (Angels), and Siddhars (Evolved Souls) have come here to witness this event (consecration). I didnt want to control their jubilation during the process. Saying this Amma raised His head and looked up to the skies, the moment at which rain stopped abruptly. Thus Amma - Adigalaar demonstrated His reign over natural forces. That is the miracle Adigalaar performed on the day of consecration of Adhiparasakthi idol in Siddhar Peetam of Melmaruvathoor. Weekly Worship Centers: What does weekly worship center mean?, asked some of the devotees to whom Amma ordained about this concept in Oracle. Ammas answer, Weekly once or twice, a group of people should assemble together and recite Shakti mantras and pray in the name of AdhiParaShakti. After which they should do social service. The first weekly worship center was started in Kancheepuram on June 2nd, 1978, by Adigalaar Himself. Today, there are around 3608 weekly worship centers in Tamil Nadu, other states of India, and other countries around the world. Some of these weekly worship centers have become Shakti Peetams. Through these weekly worship centers and Shakti Peetams, the awareness and fame of Amma started spreading dramatically. Adigalaar attributes the success of this growth to women. He has said many times, It is because of womens attachment to Amma (AdhiParaShakti) that Siddhar Peetam and Weekly Worship Centers have grown to this extent. They consider Siddhar Peetam to be their own mothers house. Thats why they dedicate themselves to visit Siddhar Peetam frequently, especially on festive days, do their part of service, get prasadam and return back to their homes with a sense of achievement and peace of mind. .....More interesting things to come... NOTE: Until this article, whenever it is mentioned as Amma, it means, Adigalaar was in transcend state, in which Mother AdhiParaShakti had occupied Him. In future articles, we will see a change to this phenomenon.

The Dharshan (seeing of divine beings) of the great Spiritual Guru Adigalaar is made possible only by the Universal Soul (Param Porul). For one to have such a dharshan, one should have virtues carried forward from previous lives. 1. Following the very first dharshan of the spiritual guru Adigalaar, we can feel and experience the cleansing of all the dirt spread on our soul by subsequent dharshans. 2.The clarity on thought of: what we should talk?; how we should present it? comes naturally to us. 3. Through the self-less and humble divine service that we perform, Amma awakens our inner light and thus strengthens us in spiritual consciousness. 4. Through regular meditation and practice of silence (Mounam), the kundalini shakti residing in our body is aroused. 5. The character of jealousy is removed and replaced with the broad and open mind of sharing and sacrificing. 6. The thought of righteousness is engraved deeply in our heart. Guru is Brahma (Creator): The spiritual Guru Adigalaar is the creator of a strong, stable and orderly state of mind through the Diksha (Spiritual Initiation) of mantras, and red clad path of self-less service to all life forms. Guru is Vishnu (Conservator): The spiritual Guru Adigalaar is protector of His disciples and followers by making them do self-less service to others, and thus conserves the good force in this planet to subdue the evil force. Guru is Maheswara (Consumer): The spiritual Guru Adigalaar consumes the bad karma and sins of His disciples by accepting Paada Pooja from them and thus relieves them of their ill-effects. Create, Conserve, Consume: All these three great works are performed by Param Porul - Universal Soul being in the Guru state as Adigalaar. Hence, the bhakthas (devotees) of Melmaruvathoor experience the removal of their sufferings and distress systemmatically. Such a phenomenon has never been experienced in the history of human life until this Incarnation.

Dharshan of Adigalaar - Only due to Our Previous Lifes

Virtues The Universal Soul - Param Porul itself which has incarnated in the Guru form as Shri Bangaaru Adigalaar in Melmaruvathoor, Tamil Nadu, India, is providing spiritual initiations (Dhikshas) in subliminal ways to His followers. In no other incarnations, the Universal Soul had ever offered this phenomenal opportunity to common people. 1. Nayana Dhiksha (Initiation by Sight): When one is involved in divine and social service activities ordained by Amma, and dharshan in the Peetam, and in Arul Koodam (Abode of Blessing) in Melmaruvathoor, His Holiness Adigalaar offers the Nayana Dhiksha. 2. Vaasaka Dhiksha (Initiation by recitals): Through the 108, 1008 mantras and hymns prescribed by Amma, one obtains the Vaasaka Dhiksha. 3. Maanasa Dhiksha (Initiation by thought): Through meditation on Guru Adigalaars form (by fixing His image in the Christ Consciousness or Third Eye Center or Aagna Center, the point between two eyebrows just above the nose on the forehead), one obtains Maanasa Dhiksha. 4. Sastra Dhiksha (Initiation by Knowledge) The Oracle delivered by Adigalaar in transcendental state when the Holy Spirit takes His physical body, and His Graceful conversation with individuals and groups, provides clarity of thought to listeners and clears doubts about complex situations. These Oracles and Blessing Talks serve as scripture of knowledge which serves as Sastra Dhiksha. 5. Parisa Dhiksha (Initiation by touch) Guru Adigalaar has appeared in the dreams of some of His disciples/followers and placed His toe on the Christ Conscious / Aagna Center and energized the light within. To certain other disciples, He has physically touched them to arouse their spiritual energy. This is Parisa Dhiksha. 6. Outhira Dhiksha (Initiation by rituals) Guru Adigalaar has taught thousands and enabled millions to participate in Yagnas (Velvi) which is the greates ritual of all, and thus made them obtain Outhira Dhiksha. 7. Yoga Dhiksha (Initiation by Yogic practices) In thousands of weekly worship centers, Guru Adigalaar arouses the Kundalini Shakti in the devotees who recite 1008 Mantras with devotion and concentration. This is Yoga Dhiksha. Through the above mentioned initiations (dhikshas), He cleanses the souls off their dirt and awakens Godliness.

The 2001 Navaraathri Festival was celebrated from October 17th to 26th at Shakti Peetam & Spiritual Center Of North America with a beautiful 7 step Bhomma Kozhu (Display of idols shown below) and two lakshaarchanas. Each day of this nine day period was sponsored by an individual family from PA , whose names are worth mentioning here. Each of this family took the responsibility of conducting daily pooja rituals at SPSC of NA. They are families of Shakti Rajamohan & Suhirtha, Shakti Muthu Chinnadurai & Shanmu, Shakti Mohan & Selvi, Shakti Sriram & Shanthi, Shakti Subbu & Kavitha, Shakti Periyasamy & Dheepa, Shakti Rajasekaran & Vijayalakshmi. The devotees of NJ, VA/MD joined the PA group on 20th & 21st and completed two lakshaarchanas (2 one-hundred times recitals). The VA/MD team took responsibility for 20th and the 21st was sponsored by NJ team to conduct these rituals. Many devotees from PA, NJ, MD, and VA participated in the lakshaarchana both days and performed kum-kum archana during the hundred thousand times recital of Shakti Mantras. All the devotees lighted oil lamps made out of lemon (which is a common practice in Hindu rituals to light lemon lamps for Goddess, meant to alleviate sufferings in ones life). The aganda vilakku was lighted by Shakti Santhanagopalan, the President of AdhiParaShakti Weekly Worship Center, Fairfax, VA, which was the first center in USA. The agandam was taken down by Shakti Sivaganga from Chicago, on 20th. All these were performed exclusively by women according to procedures ordained by Amma. More photos displayed in SPSC of NA.

Dheivankale Siddharkal! Siddharkale Dheivankal. Anaithu Siddhargalukkum Thalaivi Naane Gods are Siddhars. Siddharrs are Gods. I am the Head of all Siddhars

- Ammas Oracle. In this Oracle, Amma - AdhiParaSakthi has clearly proclaimed that Siddhars - The Evolved Souls are Gods. It is Gods who incarnate on this earth in human form as Siddhars. Recent research by non-christian theoligists, and proclamations by various Yogis of India, (Edgar Cayce, U.S.A.) confirm that Lord Jesus Christ was also a Yogi, equivalent of Siddhar. All these Siddhars showed the path for God Realization from within ones self, rather than searching at a distance outside. They emphasized on physical immortality or extended life time, as a requirement for cleansing the karma and attaining self-realization. The Siddhars contribution to physical and mental well-being through medicines, alchemy, and practical science of nature, cosmology, astrology, herbal medicine, chemistry, and yoga (union with divinity) is extra-ordinary and unsurpassable by modern science. The sayings, preachings, practices, and path shown by all these Siddhars are one and the same - The presence of Adhi Para Shakti as ONE GOD. Each of the places mentioned above as their place of Samadhi (Conscious exit of their physical body), is where todays famous and most crowded Temples stand. At these Temples, each of these Siddhars reside in astral form, and bless the visiting pilgrims. It is said that Siddhar Agasthiar still lives in Pothigai Malai (south of western ghats in Tamil Nadu, India), and occasionally gives appearance to sincere aspirants and devotees.

I wear braces around my neck since I suffer from worn-out neck bone. I have been suffering from excruciating pain in the neck for sometime. One day I took my 5 year old son along with me to Melmaruvathoor and stood in front of Swayambu in the Sanctum Sanctorum and verbally poured out my sufferings and prayed to AdhiParaSakthi Annai for relief. That day around 10:30 AM, I had dharshan of the living God, One who erases peoples sins, the ocean of mercy, Origin of everything, the embodiment of AdhiParaSakthi - Guru Shri Adigalaar. That day I couldnt prostate on His Lotus Feet as usual due to severe pain. Just kneeled down in front of him. When getting up, I felt like an electric current passing through my whole body. Next second, I couldnt feel my neck pain. Even before I can realize what has happened, Guru asked , Umm! What is special sir? You have brought your son today?, and then continued saying Like this, everyone should bring the children at their young age and grow bakthi (devotion) in their mind. Anything special in Thanjai?. Realizing that the pain in my neck had vanished, with tears of joy in my eyes, I replied, Amma! after completing the Spiritual Conference for growth of natural resources, there has been abundant rain in Thanjaavoor and surrounding areas. Guru pointing to all red-clad devotees waiting out there said, I know that. But the people standing here should know it. Thats why I asked you about it. While returning back to my home town, I did not require the braces for my neck. Next day, I went to doctors office to check with him. The doctor asked me, How did you get relieved of the pain. I cant believe it. This pain you had was due to worn-out neck bone. I narrated the incident with my Guru to him. The doctor was surprised and dumbfound. Dear Shaktis! How did this miracle happen in my life? Because I go to Siddhar Peetam once a month and perform my service of cleaning the Temple, circambulation (Angapradhakshnam), and sit in Meditation for atleast 10 mintues. It is my humble opinion, that Amma had rewarded me for the services that I do in the name of Amma - Our Guru. I prayed to Annai AdhiParaSakthi. The answer came from Guru Adigalaar. Know that Annai and Guru are the One and the Same. - Sakthi S.M. Raaman, Thanjavoor, India, 1989

The Spiritual Beacon - Its Mission

AdhiParaSakthi Siddhar Peetam, Melmaruvathoor The AdhiParaSakthi Siddhar Peetam is the physical abode of our Guru His Holiness Shri Bangaaru Adigalaar - AMMA in Melmaruvathoor which is 90 km south of Chennai (formerly Madras) in the southern state Tamil Nadu of India. Amma - Adigalaar is now 60 years old and resides in Melmaruvathoor, continuing His magnificent spiritual and social services throughout the world via more than 3000 weekly worship centers in different countries. His abode at Melmaruvathoor is called Siddhar Peetam , since it is a place where 21 Siddhars (Evolved/Enlightened Souls) of various religions both men and women have attained Jeeva Samaadhi (Consciously exited their physical body) and continue to bless visitors, being in astral form.

January 26th and 27th, 2002 is the Thai Poosam celebration days at Melmaruvathoor. It is the day on which, Tamil star of Poosam ascends in the month of Thai (First month of Tamil Calendar). Thai Poosam is a festival that is celebrated in a grand scale in all Temples around the world. Devotees undertake severe penance in the form of fasting and abstaining from all vices. At Melmaruvathoor, Thai Poosam is one of the grandest festival celebrated with millions visiting Siddhar Peetam. To observe Thai Poosam at Melmaruvathoor, Amma has devised the practice of Irumudi (two bags) and Shakti Maalai (Shakti garland). Devotees go to weekly worship centers in their neighborhood and under the guidance of local center in-charges (called as Gurus), they wear Shakti Malai and Irumudi through an elaborate ritual ordained by Amma. Three salient features of this procedure need to be mentioned here. During this procedure, each devotee wearing shakti maalai, kneels down at the feet of the person who acts as a Guru, and keeps bindhi with turmeric, sandalwood powder and kum-kum powder on his/her feet. The Guru in turn, does the same thing to each devotee. Thus, the individuals pay mutual respect by touching each others feet and keeping bhindi on them. This ritual emphasizes practically that God resides in everyone in spirit form and that we should see God in each other. No other religion, including Hinduism, preaches and practices this process for God realization. This procedure was ordained by Amma in Oracle (Arul Vaakku) stage and is followed by millions every year. The second is the Irumudi - two bags, which is a red color bag stitched with two pouches on either end. The devotee fills one pouch with rice, and $5 note and the other pouch with oil, ghee, sandalwood powder, turmeric powder, coconut, lemon, kum-kum, agarbathi (scented sticks), and camphor to perform Abhishekam at Temple. Then they tie two knots, one for each pouch so that the stuffed material would stay put. The two

pouches with two knots represent two type of karmas of a soul. The past and the future. The devotee after wearing the Shakti Maalai and fasting for 3, 5, 7, 9 or other odd number of days, carries the irumudi to Melmaruvathoor Siddhar Peetam. The third is the Shakti Maalai itself, which is made by Kuravars (Nomads) using beads with Ammas copper pendant. The devotees wear this around their neck, just like a necklace and carry the irumudi bags on their shoulder. Thousands of devotees with irumudi and Shakti Maalai travel by foot, walking all the way from their hometown to Melmaruvathoor, which could be sometimes, more than 100 Km (approx. 80 miles). The Shakti Malai, being made by poor Kuravars, who are treated as untouchables by Hindu practices, symbolizes and emphasizes the equality of human beings. Also, it helps them earn their living through making and selling these beaded garlands. On reaching Melmaruvathoor, the devotees are allowed to enter the Karuvarai (Sanctum Sanctorum) of Mother AdhiParaShakti, where each and every one of them perform Abishekam to Swayambu Lingam with their own hands, using the material from one pouch of the Irumudi. The rice from other pouch is mixed in common pool in the kitchen and thus cooked and served free to all. The $5 bill is donated to AdhiParaSakthi Charitable Hospital, which provides TOTALLY FREE medical treatment to all. No other Hindu or another religious practices allows all common people with rights to do such rituals in the Sanctum Santorum by themselves. Thus Amma cleanses the past karma of the devotee by making them perform Abishekam to Swayambu with their own hands. Amma makes the devotees accummulate good karma by making them donate rice to feed the deprived, and money to treat the poor in the hospital. PEOPLE OF ALL RELIGIONS AND BELIEFS AROUND THE WORLD, VISITING MELMARUVATHOOR FOR THAI POOSAM EVERY YEAR, HAVE REALIZED THE BENEFITS.
