• What is a charity and why do charities exist?

• 10 Vivo’s are available to students who CREATE AND PRESENT an excellent PowerPoint presentation to the group about the work that charities do.
• 2 Vivo points are available to students who create excellent PowerPoint presentations about a charity but who don’t feel confident enough to present them to the group.
Research• Choose a charity that supports a cause that you feel very strongly
about, then create a presentation that includes the following; A) The name of the charityB) The logo for the charityC) How the charity raises money to support its causeD) What the charity does with the money they raise (this needs to
be in your own words)E) How you can donate moneyF) Other ways that the charity raises money. What special
events/activities do they do?G) Finally – why is it SO important to support the work that this
charity does?H) Any other information you feel is important/interesting
