Golden Eagles Baseball GamesGLENS FALLS – The Glens Falls Golden Eagles summer collegiate base-
ball team would like to invite all members of the community to attend the
following games to kick off the 2011 season. Opening Night is Friday, June
10, 7pm, with a Tailgate Party at 4pm. Sunday, June 12 is YMCA Night at
7pm with all YMCA members receiving free admission by presenting their
membership card. Tuesday, June 14 is a game vs. Elmira with fi reworks to

Juried Photography ShowGLENS FALLS – North Country Arts Center issues a call to photographers
for its fi rst-ever Juried Photography Show. The show runs July 5 to 30 at
Friends Gallery, upstairs at Crandall Public Library in Glens Falls. The awards
reception is set for Thursday, July 7, from 6-7pm. The call is to all photog-
raphers, amateur and professional, ages 18 and older. Entrants may submit
two ready-to-hang photographs not previously entered in a competition. The
works must be secured with wire on the back – no saw-tooth hangers will
be accepted. Drop-off and registration is at the Friends Gallery at Crandall
Public Library on Thursday, June 30, from 5-9pm and Saturday, July 2, from
10am-2pm. Entry fee is $15 for non-members and $10 for NCAC members.

Triathlon at Hudson Crossing ParkSCHUYLERVILLE – Hudson Crossing Park (HCP), located at Lock 5 off Route 4 in Schuylerville, announces the 2nd annual Hudson Crossing Triathlon, scheduled for 8am on Sunday, June 12. Rain or shine. The USA Triathlon-sanctioned event consists of a 500-yard swim in the Hudson River, a 12-mile bike ride on scenic roads in Northumberland, and a 5k run along trails in Schuylerville. Over 200 participants have signed up and it will be an exciting race to come watch or help as a volunteer! Proceeds from this event will benefi t park development and the historic Dix Bridge restoration project, a central feature of HCP. Organizers of the Hudson Crossing Triathlon are look-ing for volunteers to point directions on the course, hand out water and other tasks on race day. Bus Drivers to be Grand Marshals of ParadeGREENWICH – Their strength and experience is driving, but on June 17 they’ll be walking, leading the Whipple City Festival Parade. The Greenwich school bus drivers have been selected to be the Grand Marshals of this year’s parade to hon-or their collective 200 years of service to Greenwich Central School.
