Enza MaselliEnza has worked with students with disabilities for 30 years; 18 of those as the co-ordinator of the Severe Multiple Disabilities unit. She has been a pioneer in the development of an education program that focuses on the holistic development of her students.
Josh BondJosh founded Sonlife Africa, an organisation to provide education, clean water and healthcare to people living in poverty. He set up a scholarship fund at his school, organised school trips to Africa and teaches his students to make a di/erence.
Samantha GillSamantha has worked with the Salvation Army’s Youth Outreach Program for the last eleven years, teaching more than 300 “at-risk” students. Samantha encourages her students to use education to better their lives and escape their turbulent pasts.
Georgina KenaghanA meeting with six determined young women, all blind, led Georgina to put her career on hold to coach the women’s goalball team. Georgina led the team to qualify for the London 2012 Paralympic Games for the first time in 16 years.
Shelly CaspaniShelly is a Girl Coach with The Smith Family mentoring Indigenous girls aged 12-15. Working with more than fifty young girls a year, Shelly supports and encourages them to attend school, set goals and achieve them.
Jill GloverJill goes above and beyond in her role as a teacher, working closely with students from low socio-economic backgrounds to help them find jobs and embark on further study. Much of her work is unpaid and outside of traditional school hours.
