Writing 1Music video “Wherever you will go”

Today I went with my girlfriend to a tattoo shop, she wanted to have a wonderful

tattoo with my name. I felt bad because she didn’t know that I had an adventure

with someone else. I couldn’t stay more time there, so I decided to go home and

phoned my lover. I told her that my girlfriend, at that moment, was in a tattoo

shop tattooing my name and she started kissing me trying to comfort me.

When we were in bed, someone arrived. It was my girlfriend. I didn’t know what

I could do, but I decided to dress up and run away to talk with her. I didn’t care

what would my lover do, I only want to find her.

Next day, when I arrived to my house after a very hard working day, I found my

house fully disordered and with lots of things broken. I thought my girlfriend or

ex-girlfriend returned home to show me how angry she was.

After a few months without knowing anything about her, I found an address and

I drove my car hoping she would talk to me and she would return home with me.

When I arrived I saw her. She looked fantastic but she was with another boy

and in the arm where it was my name, now there was a tattoo with a fascinating

flower. I think I will never get her love back.

Describing a picture

This picture was taken by me in Santo Domingo this summer. I was in an

excursion by buggies when we stopped to buy some cafe in front of the school.

First, I looked to see if there was someone there and I saw young children who

were having a class. The teacher told me that she was trying to teach concepts

to them and that they were luckily to go to school.

I think this photo is moving and a little bit dramatic, because the situation of

these children is of poverty. It also makes you think what you have and they’ll

never have like more than one T-shirt, or a pair of shoes. This photo was taken

spontaneous and after that, they start waving her hand like saying “hello!”.

Finally, I can also add that I think this is the best photo I’ve never taken, it

reflects lots of feelings with only watching the faces of the children.

A news story

We have already noticed that there was a earthquake in Haiti, about an hour

ago. On this moment we only know that millions of people are now in the street

without a house, any clothes, any water, …

The earthquake began at 16:53 (Haiti time). The epicentre of the earthquake

was 15km from Puerto Rico, but the effects were terrible because the capital is

the most populated part of Haiti. People was running out their homes and they

saw their houses collapsing.

At first, the panic was felt by every inhabitant of Haiti and the rescue teams

started to looking for survivors. Many teams of doctors and firemen are now

planing to go to help.

If you search Haiti in Google, you can see many websites which are trying to

collect money for the people in Haiti.

We hope Haiti situation become better during the next mouths, but we don't

have to forget that the country was poor before the earthquake. When our radio

channel noticed, we opened a bank account which is 123456789987654321. If

you deposit money, we'll send to Red Cross to help, buy food and medicines.

1st to 4th ESO

These are two photos of me on different ages. The first, is when I was 12 (on 1st

of ESO) and the other one, is actual, 15 years old.

When I was 12 I was a bit smaller respect the others, now I've grown up and I'm

as tall as my classmates. Also, in 1st my hair was blonder and straighter than

now, but my hair style is similar.

I used to be shy and friendly, but now I'm more sociable, extrovert and mature.

Although, I've changed my mind respect 1st of ESO and 4th: on 1st I wanted to be

a journalist and now, I prefer biology and chemistry.

My results have been similar, but my favorite subjects have changed, like my

interests.

I have had the same friends, and more! Some of them have changed more than

the others, who I think are going to change now.

I think I've changed a lot in these years, but in fact, I'm the same person.

My life

I was born in Barcelona in 1996 and now I'm 15. When I

was a baby, I lived in a flat in the centre of my city,

Cardedeu. Now, I live in a house at the outskirts. My

playground school was “Can Serra” and there, I made lots

of friends that I still have. I used to be small because I was

born in November, and in the class, I was the smallest

children. Also, I walked on my fingers, not like the other

ones.

I started to go to primary school when I was 2 years old. In

the class, I was also the smallest. Almost always, I wore

trends and dresses. I remember that I loved princesses

and dolls. When I was 4, my sister was born and I was

very happy. My granny accompanied me to the school

every morning since I was a baby until I was 11.

I was growing up but I was still smaller than the others.

My milk teeth started falling down when I was 5 and I

started to wear brackets at 12.

I didn't start to have the same measure as the others until

2nd of ESO. My hair, also, has changed. When I as a child, it

was more straight and blonder than now.

I think I've had a good infancy and, in general, a happy life

until now. I hope to be the same than now all my life.

The thing that I would never done is have a snake like a pet.

Writing 7Hey Lizzy!

17th January, as you know, is my birthday and I want to invite you to my party. It’ll be on the 21st and we’ll go to cinema but we’ll meet at my house at 5:30. At first, I have chosen the film “Un lugar para soñar” but if someone would like to change the film and the others agree, we can do it. Then, we can go to a restaurant and have lunch. You don’t have to bring anything. I’ve invited Anne, Kate, Beth, Loren and Sally to come with us.

My town is Cardedeu and it’s a great but small town. You can find it in

Catalonia, Vallés Oriental, next to Granollers.

In here there are about 18000 inhabitants who live around the village. They’re

very nice people.

Here you can visit the church, a great cinema,... You can go shopping in the

centre of the town and eat near there. You can sleep at Xurin’s Hotel, near the

train station.

You can also go to field trips which are organized by diferents associations. You

can go for a walk in the mountain, go cycling, etc.

It’s small, but you can do lots of things and get funny!

That was a fantastic surprise when, last Monday, a group of students found that

the corridor was full of roses. There were lots of flowers from different colours.

In that moment, nobody knew who the author was but a day later, our teachers

investigated and realised it was our caretaker. He said that he wanted to

decorate the building because the spring would come soon.

Almost all the students were happy with the decoration but, there were some of

them who were allergic to pollen, so they asked the head teacher to take out

some of the flowers. Some students were very sad but finally, they understood

that the allergic people couldn’t be walking relaxed.

Finally, next week, the caretaker will take out all the flowers and the high school

won’t be as beautiful as in the past.

Dear mum and dad,

I’m writing this e-mail to tell you about my holiday with Jessy and Tania. Now,

we’re in a hotel in the centre of New York. The building is beautiful and the food

is delicious, so we’re very happy. I’ve been shopping every day and today,

we’re going to visit some important places of the city, like Statue of the Liberty,

Central Park, ...

In the next few days, we’ll travel by train to Los Angeles. We’re very excited

because we’ve heard that Brad Pitt is making a film in there and maybe, we

can visit him.

Hi John!

I’m writing this email to tell you about my favourite sports. My favourite sport is

swimming. I like it because I can relax swimming in the pool and, in my opinion,

it isn’t hard to practice. I go swimming often, once a week, approximately for 2

hours. I go to the swimming pool of my town, Cardedeu. I usually go with my

friend Ariadna, who goes to another high school. What’s your favourite sport? I

also like watching football matches on the TV. My favourite team is F C

Barcelona. Which is your favourite team?

Maroon 5 band was founded in 2001 in Los Angeles, California.

When they started, the name of the band was Kara’s Flowers (1994) but when a

member of the actual group started to play music with them, they changed the

name.

They’ve won lots of awards, such as: Grammys, MTV Awars and American

Music Awards.

The members of the group are: Adam Levine (voice and guitar), James

Valentine (guitar), Jesse Carmichael (piano), Mickey Madden (bass) and Matt

Flynn (dums). The music they play is pop and pop-rock.

Some of the most famous songs are “She will be loved”, “This love” and “Moves

like Jagger”.

The Mediterranean diet is a diet that consists of eating all kinds of food but in

different proportions.

In this diet, you don’t have to stop eating; you only have to eat following the

food pyramid. You must eat much more bread, cereals and rice, than sugar. It’s

important to eat fruit and vegetables a little bit more than meat, fish and dairies.

Mediterranean diet is completely healthy if you follow the pyramid. There are

many countries where people eat the diet: Spain, France, Italy,...

If you want to have fun in Vallés Oriental you’re in the right way. Here we’ll

explain you what to do in this place. There’re different options:

Sport: If you want sport trips, concretely go cycling, the best option to choose is

going to Aiguafreda. There you can find some places which are beautiful and

there are easy and difficult roads. There’s a great walking excursion in Caldes

de Montbuí . They take you to the mountain and you visit some nice places.

Culture: If you prefer a cultural visit, you can go to the “Arxiu Tomàs Valvey

Museum”, in Cardedeu. In this museum there are lots of exhibitions about

different themes.

Relax: Do you want to get relaxed? You can do it in La Garriga, in the

Blancafort valneary. It’s the best option that you can find in Vallés.
