Inaddition to incarnating Esmeralda, the heroine of the animated feature The Hunchback of NotreDame, she sang the theme song (“Que Dieu aide les exclus”) on the film’s soundtrack. InOctober, her third album “Pure” went platinum in less than two weeks. Thanks to this album,she won the 1997 Félix for Album of the Year. Lara Fabian urodziła się jako Lara Crokaert 9 stycznia 1970 roku w Etterbeek, w Belgii. Jestznaną belgijsko-kanadyjską wokalistką śpiewającą głównie po francusku, znana z siły głosu iperfekcyjnej techniki śpiewu. Czasami śpiewa również po angielsku, włosku (np. Adagio) ihiszpańsku. Zaśpiewała także raz po portugalsku i niemiecku, mimo że nie mówi w tychjęzykach. Sprzedała 12 milionów płyt na całym świecie.

Do jej najbardziej znanych piosenek należą: I Will Love Again, Je t’aime, I Am Who I Am, NoBig Deal oraz cover piosenki zespołu Black - Wonderful Life.
