Lara Fabian urodziła się jako Lara Crokaert 9 stycznia 1970 roku w Etterbeek, w Belgii. Jestznaną belgijsko-kanadyjską wokalistką śpiewającą głównie po francusku, znana z siły głosu iperfekcyjnej techniki śpiewu. Czasami śpiewa również po angielsku, włosku (np. Adagio) ihiszpańsku. Zaśpiewała także raz po portugalsku i niemiecku, mimo że nie mówi w tychjęzykach. Sprzedała 12 milionów płyt na całym świecie.

Do jej najbardziej znanych piosenek należą: I Will Love Again, Je t’aime, I Am Who I Am, NoBig Deal oraz cover piosenki zespołu Black - Wonderful Life.
