Organizations models

▲ Linear organizations. An organization that has two direct lines of responsibility, authority and communication, running from the top to the bottom of the company, all employees reporting to one supervisor.

▲ Line organizations and support staff. Line staff are employees who work

directly contribute to the primary goals of the organization. The support staff are employees who support the staff lines to achieve their results.
