Paracetamol can be given if fever or pain is present (check label for correct use). Severe side effects are very rare. Wyndham City’s Immunisaon Unit provides public immunisaon sessions to vaccinate people against a range of diseases. The Naonal Immunisaon Program provides free vaccines for babies through to people aged 65, while Wyndham City also provides other vaccines not funded by government including the flu vaccine. Immunisaon Sessions • Bring your baby/child to a session in clothes that can be easily removed to access the appropriate limbs. • Please provide Medicare number to administrave staff on your first visit as immunisaon history is provided to the Australian Childhood Immunisaon Register via your Medicare number. • Prior to immunisaon taking place, staff will run through the ‘pre-vaccinaon check list’ to determine the best immunisaon schedule for you or your child. • Aſter vaccinaon is complete you will be asked to wait in the centre for 15 minutes to ensure there are no delayed adverse reacons before leaving.
