You can even expand yoursystem to 11.2 channels for unprecedented sound depth.

The 9.2-channel RX-A2010 envelops you in sound fields fromnine separate channels and two subwoofers. Their CINEMA DSP 3Dprogrammes create wide, high and dense sound fields forsensational surround sound.

In order to make absolutely sure that the chassis will not vibrate orresonate in any way, Yamaha developed a new approach tosupporting it by adding a fifth leg in the centre of the unit, calledthe A.R.T. Wedge. It serves to further dampen vibrations from thepower transformer, power transistors and heat sinks, as well asvibrations that might be causedby the sound from the speakers.

The RX-A3010 uses thesame extra-large and heavy feetthat are used on Yamahaflagship AV Amplifier, theDSP-Z11, to ensure perfectsupport of the heavy chassis.

Because these AV Receivers use extra-large, heavy parts such as transformers andheat sinks, their internal construction has to be extremely strong and rigid. Inaddition to a rigid bottom frame, Yamaha added an H-shaped cross member framefor extra support. This reduces chassis vibration to virtually zero even during highvolume output (seemingly minor vibrations can affect the sound), maintaining thehighest audio quality.

In addition, the interior of the unit wasprecisely planned, circuit-routed and built so thatthe left and right channels are physically andelectrically isolated. This Symmetrical PowerAmplifier Layout maximises channel separation,but also greatly improves signal to noise ratio andhelps to achieve a wide, open sound stage.

A.R.T. Wedge for Advanced Vibration Damping Internal Construction and Layout Designed toFurther the Goal of Superlative Sound Quality

Multi-point YPAO-R.S.C. analyses room acoustics, then preciselycalibrates audio parameters to achieve optimum sound at any ofseveral listening positions. It employs Reflected Sound Control tocorrect early reflections for studio-quality sound, as well as DSP EffectNormalisation, which varies the CINEMA DSP parameters according tothe reflected sounds. The RX-A3010 also performs speaker anglemeasurements, for even more detailed sound adjustment.

The NP-S2000 receives inputs from all of your mediasources and outputs them to your audio system. Dual DACs, Full-Balanced Transmission

Two high-precision Burr-Brown D/A converters are used,dedicated to the left and right stereo channels. The outputsare then sent through balanced transmission circuits. Two Independent Power Supplies
