7. a) Fit the options below into the correct column on the table. (5)

Plant adaptations;

1. Plants go brown and die back until the rains come in the wet season.

2. Plants have spikes that reduces the amount of water the plant loses and stops animals from eating them.

9. Give two reasons why the local tribal people living in tropical rainforests would not like logging companies coming to their area of the forest. (2)
