One year ago, RBC Life Associate Sandy Duff experienced a concussion that changed her life. “I had severe nausea and memory loss and my thought processes were so jumbled I couldn’t think or work,” said Duff. “I was afraid I would never be the same again.”

While helping direct her husband to back a trailer at her home in Kelowna, BC in Canada, Sandy stepped backward and tripped over a log. She hit her head full force on the hard ground.

“I was diagnosed with a concussion. The short term memory loss was the worst and I couldn’t do simple tasks like schedule appointments or remember friends’ phone numbers,” she said.

Desperate and afraid, Sandy began taking NeuroBright.® “In a short period, RBC Life products helped me regain my thought processes and put me on the road to recovery.”

IRVING, TX – (RBC Life Sciences: OTCBB: RBCL) – Steve Brown built his career in finance spanning more than 30 years for companies founded by Clinton Howard, CEO of RBC Life Sciences. After graduating from SMU with a degree in Accounting and Finance, Brown was hired by Arthur Anderson in the late 1970s, where he was assigned Senior Auditor for AvaCare prior to the company

going public. In 1980 he was hired as CFO of AvaCare. When the company sold its direct sales business in 1985 to focus on pharmaceutical applications of Aloe, Brown continued as CFO for the medical products business, Carrington Laboratories, Inc.

“When I joined AvaCare, Aloe was not yet a household name. Network marketing educated the public about its benefits to make it the widespread product it is today,” said Brown. In 1983, AvaCare became public through an IPO. “This was a tremendous experience,” he said.

“It was also an exciting time at Carrington as the company was researching the potential healing properties of Aloe,” said Brown. He spent time in Costa Rica where Carrington Labs

built an Aloe farm and manufacturing facility while conducting research on the Aloe plant. They isolated acemannan as the key ingredient in Aloe gel. The company experienced steady growth as a pioneer in a new industry.

Howard retired from Carrington in 1990 and founded RBC in 1991. The company experienced rapid growth in 1994, and Brown was appointed CFO. “The potential offered by RBC and the chance to once again work with Clinton Howard was an opportunity I did not want to pass up,” said Brown.

“Direct selling is unlike any other business because it is really driven by our Associates in the field. What we do as a company is position ourselves to support the field, so they can talk about the products and opportunity,” he said.

As Executive Vice President, Brown will continue as CFO. He will also be in charge of IT, Operations and Regulatory Affairs of RBC Life and oversee the Operations in Taiwan. “This will give us a focus across departments to allow us to look at our processes so our company can run efficiently to provide the best experience we can to our Associates,” he said.

With the launch of Stem-Kine™ sales are up 40 percent. “We have not seen this kind of overwhelming rate of growth since the launch of Microhydrin®, which turned the company upside down with large volumes,” said Brown. “Once again, it is an exciting time to be a part of RBC Life.”
