Zero Kazama Zero to 5-0 Most recognizable as his MTV Silent Library host persona, audiences have yet to meet this living daredevil. When he’s not in character counting stacks of money with a raised eyebrow, you can find Zero Kazama on set as a deadly warrior, weapons expert, flying through the air as ninja for Sprite, Parkour enthusiast and fire dancer. Zero is currently filming Hawaii 5-0 and Battleship (Peter Burg’s upcoming adaptation of the board game "Battleship", featuring R&B singer Rhianna, planned for 2012 release). As luck would have it, a day off turned into a serendipitous opportunity to be immortalized … stay tuned. Zero Kazama will be returning to New York to film his 4th season with MTV’s Silent Library. Ask the questions we all want to know about this Silent host. Passionate with all facets of film, Zero has immersed himself with other projects, crafting his role as director and editor, allowing him an outlet to master this industry. Whether behind the camera or in front action sequence, Zero proves to be unstoppable!

Zero Kazama developed his unique blend of fire dancing, martial arts weaponry and intuitive movement on the beaches of Maui and with the Fire Tribe of O’ahu. Born in Japan and raised in Hawaii, Zero trained in Tae Kwon Do and started adding pyrotechnics to various other martial arts with weaponry skills using short and long staffs, swords, chain whips, and nun chucks. Cast in a trailer for the Hawaiian Film Festival, Zero was discovered by LOST stuntman Darin Fujimori. Darin took him under his wing and Zero moved to Los Angeles in early 2007 to pursue his career further. Since moving he has served as a stuntman, fight coordinator and weapons expert on multiple projects including work on Epic Pictures “Dark Island,” ABC’s LOST, the feature film Tropic Thunder, NBC’s Chuck, and SPIKE’s Deadliest Warrior. He has performed live for high-end celebrity events and was featured in Kelly Rowland and David Guetta’s music video Love Takes Over. Zero hosts MTV’s Silent Library, an alternative game show based on a Japanese series where a team is challenged to perform an unusually hysterical task while trying to keep quiet. The show has gained a cult status following and Zero was featured as a clue to a trivia question about Silent Library on Jeopardy. Zero currently resides in Santa Monica and his deepest desire is to progress social consciousness through entertainment and create new types of roles in science fiction and action films, which go beyond racial portrayals and stereotypes. He also speaks conversational Japanese and is a Parkour practitioner.
