Rsum:
Cette tude vise apprhender la question de transformation des
espaces marginaux urbains en Tunisie qui vivent la vulnrabilit et
l'exclusion sociale, et infests par la dlinquance et la criminalit
et l'conomie informelle des espaces protestataires ou naissent des
identits de refus, y compris notamment l'identit prche par la
mouvance djihadiste salafiste suivant un processus de mobilisation
idologique caractre religieux flagrant. Cest une tude de la
stratgie prdicative de la mouvance djihadiste qui n'a pas pris une
forme partisane ou associative sous rserve des dterminants de
rgularit civile dicte par la culture politique tunisienne, et est
rest exerc dans des rseaux tendus sans structure, ni hirarchie
formelle ou statut juridique. Elle a pris la forme de groupes de
jeunes djihadistes disperss le long du pays. En suivant la
rpartition de ces groupes de jeunes djihadistes dans un quartier
populaire de la capitale tunisienne, travers leur prsence dans un
nombre despaces, traditionnels ou modernes, de fonctions
religieuses,
politiques et conomiques distinctes et concurrentes, cette
tude
-
vise dterminer leurs activits et pratiques quotidiennes qui
mobilisent un modle normatif imagin et cristallis dans le premier
groupe de musulmans (les pieux prdcesseurs) daprs ce que dicte
l'idologie djihadiste, et de comprendre comment ils propagent
cette idologie au niveau des scnes locaux et lespace de leurs vcus
quotidien, constituant un mouvement social radical oppos au mode de
vie prvalant et portant un projet politique visant la
restructuration des liens sociaux qui cimentent les liens entre les
individus les uns aux autres et l'tat conformment un nouvel ordre
de valeurs et darrangements.
La prsente tude sans prcdent sur les caractristiques
sociologiques qui distinguent la jeunesse djihadiste de
Douar-Hicher, tente de rpondre un certain nombre de questions
essentielles: Qui sont les jeunes djihadistes Douar-Hicher? Comment
fonctionnent les dynamiques de mobilisation de lidologie djihadiste
dans leur vie quotidienne et leur mobilit?
Comment sest form la scne djihadiste dans le quartier? Quels
sont les processus vcus par ces jeunes pour tre comme ils sont?
et ceci en adoptant une mthodologie combinant approche
ethnographique et tude de cas, en ligne avec la qute d'explorer la
dynamique interne de ce que ltude considre la scne locale dun
mouvement social radical form par des groupes de jeunes djihadistes
au sein d'un quartier populaire Tunisien.

Jihadist Youth in Douar-Hicher : an Ethnographic Case Study

Abstract :
The study explores the dynamics of the transformation of urban
marginal spaces in Tunisia that suffer from fragility, social
exclusion and infested strongly by aspects of perversion, crime,
and informal economy into dissidence spaces. Within which rejecting
identities were created especially the identity that the Salafist
Jihadist movement bode and bases itself on it through mobilizing
ideological process with an obvious religious background.
It is a study of the Jihadist movement's Dawa strategy that has
not taken a partisan or associative form and has not follow the
civil rules of the Tunisian political culture. The strategy has
remained practiced within an extended networks without a structure,
formalist hierarchy, and formal legal status toward the state. It
has taken the form of scattered Jihadist youth groups in several
areas across the coutry. Through following the proliferation of
these youth Jihadist groups in one of capital's popular
neighbourhoods in

a number of traditional and modern spaces that has a religious,
political, and economic distinct and interlaced functions, these
study aims to identify their activities and daily practices that
mobilizes an imaginary normative model crystallized in the first
Muslims group (the pious predecessors) according to what the
Jihadist ideology dictates, to understand the way they mobilize
this ideology on the level of local scenes and everyday life
constituting a radical social movement opposed to the prevailing
lifestyle and carrying a political project for the restructuring of
social ties that cement the bonds between individuals to each other
and the state according to a new order of values and
arrangements.
These study is based on the identification of the sociological
characteristics that distinguish the Jihadist youth in
Douar-Hicher, and attempt to answer a number of key issues: who are
the Jihadist youth in Douar-Hicher? How do the dynamics of
mobilization of jihadist ideology function in their daily lives?
How did the Jihadist scene has been formed in the neighbourhood?
What are the processes experienced by these young people to become
a jihadist activist? by adopting a methodology combining
ethnographic approach and case study, in line with the quest to
explore the internal dynamics of a local radical social movement
scene formed by jihadist groups of young people in a popular
Tunisian neighbourhood.
