19. Counseling / Monitoring

i. Counseling / Mentoring

All faculty members are playing the role of “Faculty Mentor”. One faculty counselor counsels 25

students, and he / she keeps track of the students' academics, attendance; sorts out problems; sends

periodic reports to parents and apprises the Director and the Head of the Department about the

progress of the students. Students are free to approach the faculty counselor without inhibition

about academics, administration, career and personal matters. The teacher monitors the same set of

students year after year to realize overall progress at the end of the course.

ii. Career Counseling

Career Counseling is done with the help of counseling cell along with the support of department.
