When installing, enter license server name using ip address or

with full hostname including domain

to their $HOME/.cshrc file in order to run the software

NOTE: Korn shell users must add:

". /opt/Autodesk/moldflow/ami2012/data/MFENV.sh"

to their $HOME/.profile file in order to run the software

Check if the linux can ping the linuxhostname

What is the content of $ BASEDIR/licpath.lic as only this file is relevant for resolving the license

server host name (and communication port).

Note if a different communication port is used: (not 27000, e.g. using redundant servers through

port 27005) the first line of this file should be edited and the communication port appended as the

4th word (after 000000000000)

Then start the calculation from the PC via the Job Manager

on the Linux and I then check the screen output.

It should look like this one:
