Camp Panther

Camp Panther is set up on 5 acres of terraced fields in Shivpuri village atthe foothills of Himalayas. Located 16 kms north of Rishikesh, the camp is

about a 6-7 hours drive from New Delhi. The ridges surrounding the camp

are covered with a thick sal forest.The comfortable safari tents here have attached utilities and power. The days

at camp are packed with activities while the evenings are spent relaxingunder the thatched golghars (gazebos) or by the swimming pool. The moreadventurous can try their prowess at the floodlit artificial climbing wall at

Camp Panther.

Along with power and power back up facility, Camp Panther offers a

comfortable holiday out of doors.

Cost for 1 night / 2 days : Rs. 6,200/-Cost for 2 nights / 3 days: Rs. 9,200/-

Cost for 3 nights / 4 days: Rs. 11,500/-

Single Tent Supplement : Rs. 1400/day

Cost includes:

Complete boarding and lodging in tents on twin/ triple sharing basis

All meals with Tea/Coffee & snacks

Campfires on the last night

All adventure activities at the camp

Use of equipment and the services of trained guides for outdoor activities

Cost does not include:

2.58% service Tax levied by the Government of India

Facilitator/ Trainer’s cost 

Any Transport/ rafting transfers

Alcoholic beverages (we do not provide/ sell/ supply any)

Cancellation Clause:

30 days in advance No cancellation charge

Less than 7 days 100% Cancellation charge

NO REFUND FOR NO SHOWS

General Information

In the tents we provide:Beds with mattress, pillows, quilt/sleeping bag and linenTowels

Camp and surroundings information folder in each tentBio – friendly toilet kit per person

Our Food:

In spite of the remote location, we are proud of our menu and the various fresh

items it offers. An ex Taj chef is in charge of our F& B services and we give top

priority to hygiene while preparing the delicious food served in camp. It is gener-ally a combination of Indian, Continental and Chinese food. Fruit and vegetables

are obtained locally. We provide mineral water in the tents. The water in the din-

ing area is boiled and filtered.

Toilets:

At Camp Panther & Himalayan Bear Stream Camp toilets are attached to the

tents. We have running hot and cold water.

Please note:

Guests are requested not to carry any valuables or expensive items to the

camp. The camp will not be responsible for any loss or damages.Non-swimmers are welcome but may be restricted to certain sections of the river

on the advice of the river guide/trip leader.

Persons suffering from weak heart conditions, epilepsy, expecting mothers orthose with any serious ailment are not permitted to go rafting.

Alcohol is not permitted at least six hours prior to any adventure activity. No

alcohol is supplied in camp. During the day we refrain from drinking alcohol, astaking part in any physical activity is not allowed after consuming alcohol.

The lower age limit is 14 years for rafting which can be relaxed to 10 years for the

easy float tripsSnow Leopard Adventures reserves the right to alter or cancel any trip dependingupon the prevailing conditions.

in First Aid, Wilderness Course and CPR from Wilderness Medicine Institute,NOLS, US.

friendly camp operations, which emphasize on minimum impact tourism and on

conserving the environment & culture of the area.
