Results to inform design team – So what does this tell us?

• Vibrant noisy spaces

• Quiet study spaces

• Technology for everyone

• Open plan

• Light airy spaces

• Welcoming, safe space

• Learning spaces

• Space to relax

• Multicultural

• Café

• Eco friendly

• Seismically robust

• Community hub

• Parking / Transport links

To some extent these results were anticipated, with

the exception of :-

- Structural resilience topped quick poll criteria

- High expectation on café

- Both noisy and quiet spaces

- Had anticipated eco-friendly would rank higher

- Pleasantly surprised in transport quick polls

It was noted that :

- Strong support for the South Library style of

service.
