PROJECT CAT PEOPLE BAND

Cat People is a band that I started alongside Andrew Myers in 2012. Over the next year we wrote and recorded

a 9 song album titled “Grandma’s House”. When creating the album art and custom lettering for this cd I

aimed to portray the fun, upbeat nature of the band while hinting to some of the creepier side of some of the

songs that took inspiration from such cult classics as “Army of Darkness” and “The Lost Boys”. With the album

art I depicted Andrew and I’s personalities within the band. Andrew, the analytical drummer, shown on the

left pushes the band to be more complex with his ideas, while I, on the right, write and sing most of the

vocals. Refferenced by the exaggerated bags under our eyes are the many all-nighters pulled recording. Also

shown below are the band sweatshirts, designed with illustrator, and made with stencil and spray paint.
