Vincent Pinto, ethnobotanist, naturalist andwildlife biologist will be your guide on a detailed exploration of the wild edible and

about edible native plants and how variouscultures of the southwest have employed

Our Instructors

Jeff Babson has worked at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in theDepartment of Mammalogy and Ornithology. This enables him to teachcourses at the University of Arizona, Pima Community College as well asCochise College. He also conducted fieldwork in Arizona about the impor-tance of the saguaro cactus to the avian community. Jeff has a passion forwhat he considers the Holy Land of U.S. natural history: Madera Canyon,the Huachucas, the Chiricahuas and the San Pedro River. He looks forwardto sharing it with you.

Linda Coffman has been in the wallpapering and faux finishing businesssince 1990. She has completed projects in homes, churches, other busi-nesses and model homes throughout the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-SaintPaul) and now in Arizona. Her experience enhances her ability to createlooks that are truly unique. More than 3,000 students have attended herclasses in 15 different states.

Ann Morrison has taught Non-Profit Management courses at the University of South Florida since 2009, and now she brings her knowl-edge and experience to Cochise County. Ann has a Bachelor of BusinessAdministration from James Madison University and certificates in Non-Profit Management and Fundraising Management for Non-Profit Organizations from the University of Texas at Austin. She believes in theimportance of non-profit services to the community and strives togrow successful organizations through education.
