O Allah, I seek refuge with You lest I should commit shirk with You knowingly and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do
unknowingly. (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad No# 716)

! "Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive
us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.“ (Surah Al ‘Araf 7:23)
! And my success is not but through Allah (Surah Hud 11:88)

! La ilaha illa Anta [none has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allah)], Glorified (and Exalted) are You [above all that (evil) they
associate with You]. Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers. (Surah Al Anbiya 21:87)

! O my Lord! Make me one who performs As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and (also) from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my

“O Allah, make us keys for good, barriers for evil and do not make us keys for evil and barriers for good.” (At-Tabarani, 5812)
اللھم اھدنا ألحسن األعمال واألخالق ال یھدي ألحسنھا اال أنت واصرف عنا سیئ األعمال
واألخالق ال یصرف عنا سیئھا اال أنت Guide me to the best of characters for none can guide to it other
than You, and deliver me from the worst of characters for none can deliver me from it other than You. (Abu Dawud No# 760)

O Allah! Enable us to see the Truth as Truth and give us the ability to follow it. And show us the falsehood as false and give us the
ability to refrain from it.
ماوات ورب األرض ورب العرش اللھم رب السنا ورب كل شيء، فالق الحب والنوى، العظیم، ربوراة واإلنجیل والفرقان، أعوذ بك من شر ومنزل التل فلیس كل شيء أنت آخذ بناصیتھ، اللھم أنت األو قبلك شيء، وأنت اآلخر فلیس بعدك شيء، وأنتاھر فلیس فوقك شيء، وأنت الباطن فلیس دونك الظ
ین، وأغننا من الفقر ا الد شيء، اقض عنO Allah, Lord of the heavens, lord of the earth and lord of the
exalted throne, our Lord and the Lord of all things, Splitter of the seed and the date stone, Revealer of the Torah, the Injeel and the Furqan, I seek refuge with You from the evil of all things You seize
by the forelock (i.e. You have total mastery over). O Allah, You are The First so there is nothing before You and You are The Last so
there is nothing after You. You are Aẓ-ẓaahir so there is nothing above You and You are Al-baaṭin so there is nothing closer than
You, settle my debt for me and spare me from poverty. (Muslim No# 2713)
اللھم رب جبرائیل ومیكائیل وإسرافیل ، فاطرھادة ، أنت موات واألرض ، عالم الغیب والش الس تحكم بین عبادك فیما كانوا فیھ یختلفون اھدني لما اختلف فیھ من الحق بـإذنك إنك تھدي من تشاء إلى
صراط مستقیمO Allah, Lord of Jibra'eel, Meeka'eel and Israfeel (great angels),
Creator of the heavens and the Earth, Knower of the seen and the unseen. You are the arbitrator between Your slaves in that which they have disputed. Guide me to the truth by Your leave, in that
which they have differed, for verily You guide whom You will to a straight path. (Muslim No# 770)
اللھم إني عبدك ابن عبدك ابن أمتك ناصیتي بیدك ، ماض في حكمك ، عدل في قضاءك أسألك بكل اسم
یت بھ نفسك أو أنزلتھ في كتابك ، أو ھو لك سمعلمتھ أحدا من خلقك أو استأثرت بھ في علم الغیب
عندك ، أن تجعل القرآن ربیع قلبي ، ونور صدري ، وجالء حزني ، وذھاب ھمي
"O Allah, I am Your slave, son of Your slave, son of Your handmaid, my forelock is in Your hand (i.e. You have total mastery over me),
Your command over me is forever executed and Your decree over me is just." I ask You by every name belonging to You which You named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught to
any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the life of my heart
and the light of my bosom, and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety. Note: Allah will take away the anxiety and
sorrow out of the heart of him who recites this supplication, as mentioned in this hadith by our prophet (may the peace and
blessings of Allah be upon him). Sahih At Targheeb 1822, Authenticated by Al Albani as Sahih
اللھم أنت ربي ال إلھ إال أنت ، خلقتني وأنا عبدك ، وأنا على عھدك ووعدك ما استطعت أعوذ بك من
شر ما صنعت ، أبوء لك بنعمتك علي وأبوء بذنبي ، نوب إال أنت ھ ال یغفر الذ فاغفر لي فإن
O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your slave and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best as I can, I seek refuge with
You from the evil of which I have committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for
verily none can forgive sin except You. (Bukhari No# 6306)

are high, and it produces fruits. The student’s journey begins from the roots representing the

In this course, we will traverse through Surah An Noor extracting values and lessons from it in order to bring a positive change within ourselves and be nurtured through the Qur’an and Sunnah.
