Rhyolitic Tuff-porphyritic-medium grained, light to medium grey with abundant, rusty orange patches. The texture varies form granularsandy to siliceous glassy. Phenocrysts of whitefeldspar as lathes to 3mm narrow and quartz as darkgrey <^mm, sub rounded. The unit may in part bespherulitic as at 29.5, partly coalesced. Sulfides ofpyrite, minor pyrrhotite and red brown sphaleriterandomly with slight increase in sphalerite from 29.5 to31 .Om. Unit is siliceous. Upper contact is broken tocrushed, lower contact is gradational.

Rhyolitic Lapilli to Block Tuff-fine grained, light grey to medium grey with colourvariable due to presence of large fragments. Thefragments are generally lighter in colour porphyritic tospherulitic. They display light rims with dark centresprobably quartz. Main unit is medium grey porphyriticwith small feldspar laths, minor quartz eyes. There arelocally quartz with epidote veinlets possibly at edge ofblocks. Sulfides are minor to ^% pyrite, no sphaleriteor chalcopyrite noted.

54. 0-60.1 -main unit becomes lighter in colour andhas spherulitic nature with light rims and dark probablyquartz centres.

60.1-69.8-unit becomes darker probably weaklychloritic, increase in sulfide content to 1-30Xo andfragments are increasingly lapilli sized. Within thissection there is a zone of sphalerite and pyritemineralization 63.0-63.8m. Sphalerite as one band2cm wide, disseminated and small grains. Pyrite assemi-continuous veinlets -:0.5cm. Sections ends atlower edge of block. Magnetic due to pyrrhotite.

Rhyolite Lapilli Tuff-fine grained, light grey massive matrix hosting darklapilli, and lighter green grey lapilli. Sulfides are pyrite, pyrrhotite minor chalcopyrite and minor sphalerite. Unit

Rhyolite Tuff-Fragmented Fault Zone-fine to medium grained, light green to cream colourbleached highly broken to crushed with 20cm zone ofautobreccia cemented with sphalerite. Sphalerite alsooccurs as fracture fillings, as fine veinlets anddisseminations especially between 77.2 and 78.7.Below the unit is highly broken and has 1 5-20cmmassive pyrite at 79.4 approximately. Minor sphaleritenoted in pyrite zone. Lower contact based on end ofbleaching. Unit has black streaks to local smallnodules of undetermined mineralogy. Streaks are soft, grey streak may be some carbonate? or other alterationmineral.

Rhyolitic Lapilli to block Tuff-fine grained, medium grey rhyolitic tuff with minordisseminated sulfides hosting lapilli to blocks of lightercoloured grey to sericitic green, and cream browncolour. Felsic Volcanic-Rhyolitic Lapilli to Block Tuff-fine to medium grained, medium grey matrix hostinglapilli to blocks of generally lighter grey usuallyporphyritic rhyolite. These lapilli to blocks areoccasionally mineralized as at 36.1, S-10% pyrrhotite,<^% pyrite, nil to trace chalcopyrite. Tuff may display aweak foliation locally at 490 to core axis. There is aquartz vein ^ 5cm wide which sub parallels to coreaxis from 34 to 35.6m, minor pyrite. Down section thelarger blocks become more abundant quartz eyeporphyritic in darker matrix. Quartz and quartz epidoteveining increases in frequency as veins 2-3cm whitewith some bleaching, potassic alteration on the rims.

Rhyolite-Spherulitic-medium grained, medium grey to locally brown, red(brown dominant) probable potassic alterationespecially around 5- 10cm quartz and quartz carbonateveins. This section has abundant spherules to vesiclesusually quartz filled, dark grey with whitish rims, 1 to2mm in size. These are 20-300A of the unit.
