In 2011, Endeavor Snowboards built a prototyping facility in Vancouver called Archetype. This lab was created to build snowboards that would enhance the riding experience. The Archetype Series is Endeavor’s lightest and is the preferred board on a pow day.

ARTIST STATEMENT WHO RIDES IT?

HOVER CAMBER Camber under foot and reverse camber rise out to the nose contact points, this is a directional version of our successful Multi-Camber. Designed to create maximum lift in the nose while having tons of pop and responsiveness for getting through tight tree lines.

This is anything but your average snowboard glass. Pulled tight under tension, pressed with heat and infused with the perfect resin to glass ratio, this carbon reinforced laminate completely replaces the heavy plastic top sheet of the board. This shaves 1/2 pound of weight and makes the board one of the most responsive and poppy flexes ever ridden.

Grown in eastern Canada this wood is so light that it shaves 18% of the weight off a finished snowboard.

Dark Arts and Black Magic. That’s how these boards are made. So we embraced it with symbols from the occult and fortune telling rendered by hand.

With a slightly longer nose than the tail, directional boards are designed for all mountain riding and to float in soft snow. Adding a slight taper sinks the tail and raises the nose for effortless float in deep snow conditions, but also makes exiting turns easier on groomed runs.

POP CAMBER Completely flat between the bindings and camber down to the contact points, Pop Camber is designed to give the most energy transfer and pop possible. This camber profile is ideal for jumps and riders that like a fast and snappy board.

This is anything but your average snowboard glass. Pulled tight under tension, pressed with heat and infused with the perfect resin to glass ratio. This carbon reinforced laminate completely replaces the heavy plastic top sheet of the board. This shaves 8% of weight and makes the board one of the most responsive and poppy flexes ever ridden.

The rubber sidewall inlay absorbs pressure on impact and minimalizes sidewall damage as well as dampening vibration on hard snow easing leg fatigue.

The Phantom Wood Core boasts a 15% reduction in weight compared to the Standard Wood Core, making the deck lighter and more responsive.

The Clout graphic started with this question... “If I went down into a secret robot laboratory, what would the stuff down there look like?” I think I found the answer.

The graphic is stripped down and utilitarian. However, the exclusive neon base colour and the unique camouflage spot varnish give it enough ‘black-ops’ attitude to match the engineering in the board.

A declassified park/pipe/freestyle weapon, the Clout is not to be underestimated. This board is not for the lazy rider with a hangover.

With no pressure on the contact points due to the raised wings, this board feels loose and catch-free like a reverse camber board, however it remains more stable and predictable like a regular camber board.

Dow-Tech raises the contact points 2mm off the snow creating a ride similar to a reverse camber without loosing the benefits of a camber board.

An eco-alternative, basalt is the premium aerospace material made from molten basalt and was declassified by the military in 1995. An unparalleled strength-to-weight ratio gives our premium freestyle boards added performance, elasticity, and durability.

Strategically placed carbon stiffens the board without adding weight and increases the response by adding flex memory and pop.

All aspects of the five boards including the design on the back of the boards are hand drawn and unique. In total 30 individual illustrations had to be created to complete these boards. The theme was based on futuristic space disaster, mixing skulls of astronauts and fragmented planets, satellites, and space shuttles.

This deck is used as the standard that snowboards are measured off, with award, after award, after award.

The Next Series is a freerider’s dream. Taper in the tail allows it to sink slightly, which in turn lifts the nose making pow riding a breeze. Incredible to look at, the satin finished bamboo veneer topsheet serves a functional purpose of stiffening the board without the need of extra glass or carbon. Finished off with a sublimated sintered 7500 base for speed and a Phantom wood core for flex memory and pop.

A thin veneer of exotic, high-end bamboo creates an amazing aesthetic look while enhancing the flex and strength of the board.


I wanted to keep the content simple but strong enough to work in harmony with the bamboo top sheet. We used a wide range of color but this time instead of flooding it, the color was overlaid enough to be prevalent but still allow for the grain behind it to show through. Combining that with the content of old gangs, legions and other conjured up products really brings a high quality look to this amazing series.

The Next is for the rider who lives for pow. It is stiff, responsive, stable, and reliable.

The super camber with flat kicks rides like a longer snowboard because of the quick radius to flat on the nose and tail. 15mm of Super Camber means an unbelievable amount of stored energy just waiting to be released.

The Live is one of the best sellers in the Endeavor line-up and this year it has a new camber story. The board is camber 75% of the board length with a 3mm reverse camber before the contact points. This directional twin is the board that everyone can ride and have fun on. It doesn’t matter if it is the rider’s first day on the hill or an advanced level rider, the Live can do it all.

MULTI CAMBER This board has traditional camber between the bindings for pop and a 3mm rise of reverse camber out to the contact points for a fun, float in soft snow and a hook-free ride.


Strategically placed in areas, the dampening will eliminate unwanted high-frequency vibrations on hard snow and increase the bond between the various laminates in a board.

The Cold Front mural was created as a mash up of my own personal interest in bold graphics and comic book art and symbols/characters that represent both the Endeavor company and the location of Vancouver. Was a fun challenge to bring all these elements together in the theme of ‘Cold Front’ and create a dynamic, site-specific mural for the Endeavor head offices.

The do anything board that does not fail. Throw park, pow, street, ice at it and it won’t let the rider down. If there is only one deck in a board bag, the Live has to be it.

The first child of the Archetype R&D Lab, the goal was simple: to create a completely new style of board that is stable yet loose, aggressive yet fun and soft yet poppy. Dow-Tech 2 raises the contact points 3mm in height and 18cm in length off the snow creating a ride similar to a reverse camber but with the benefits of a camber board.

After a long day on the hill, down at the pub the most common conversations are: “Did you see that guy killing the park?”, “You should of seen the airtime I caught off that wind lip” and “How many bangers did you film Today?”. So we decided to have a laugh and imagine what would be going through their heads, while listening to all this snowboard slang.

To achieve what I wanted I have combined various techniques and styles, including digitally enhanced pencil or pen drawings, watercolors, inks and acrylics, along with vector graphics, marker and spray made typography. All together creating a mixture of comic, pop-art, Albrecht Dürer and Alfons Mucha like artworks and tattoo, cartoons and Manga inspired frames, giving each board a highly eye-catching visuals.

One of the few boards available in this price range with a full-length poplar core, DDP (Digital Direct Printed) topsheet and UV high gloss lacquer. That’s a deal!

The main concept was to exemplify five different styles of parties within different layers of people depicting a range from “cheap beer parties”, where people get wasted, to high end luxury cognac events. A large part of Russian street culture involves violence, weapons, and criminal activities which also encompass and relate to the idea of “Vice”.

This board is as comfortable in the urban environment as it is burning park laps or riding the entire mountain.

The initial inspiration for this graphic was floral patterns from high fashion photography which grew into hundreds of layers of composited photos, paired with hand painted lettering. Refined and vibrant with a little attitude.
