St. Augustine, Florida DECO Wins Prestigious National Award Chef Sandy Krebs is proud to announce that her restaurant, DECO, is the recipient of the American Culinary Federation Achievement of Excellence Award for 2009. Each year the ACF presents the award to a select number of extraordinary properties. The award was created to honor those properties that demonstrate excellence and passion for the culinary arts through their unparalleled food and beverage program. “Honors like this don’t come along very often in the business. I’m thrilled and excited to be receiving this award!” said Chef Krebs. The award will be presented to Chef Sandy by the ACF National Presi-dent, John Kinsella, CMC, CCE, AAC during the National Conven-tion, which will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Orlando World Center Marriott. More than 1,000 cooks, chefs, and ACF members are expected to be in attendance for the event.
