With a choice of ADR 80/02 compliant engines – the Detroit Series 60 EGR or CAT Acert – which can be matched to a variety of Eaton transmission options including Freightliner’s SmartShift™ automated shifter.

Th e huge cabin design and structure has been built with aerodynamics and tare weight in mind to help increase your payload and reduce your fuel bill.

Th e lightweight aluminum cab construction, which meets Europe‘s stringent ECE-R29 crashworthiness standard, off ers excellent visibility for your safety. With no engine tunnel to compromise the cabin design, the fl oor remains virtually fl at. Combine that with a convenient dash mounted gear lever, to enjoy easy walk-through access.

And you can rest assured it’s tested and built for Australian conditions.

Th e new Argosy Evolution has a level of adaptability which can’t be matched.

With a standard 90 tonne Gross Combined Mass rating, the Argosy Evolution is a versatile cabover capable of handling every application from 48 foot single trailer to B-triples – and it does it without compromise.

Four spacious cabin sizes and a range of axle confi gurations, frame selections and driveline choices means this truck can be tailored for your specifi c task or used as a true all-rounder.

Available in 6x4 and twin-steer 8x4, the Argosy Evolution is capable of everything from light work such as furniture transport all the way to heavy haulage jobs, including low loaders and road trains.

Th e full cabin range, from the 90” Midroof Cab, to the spacious 110” Raised-Roof Sleeper are 26 metre B-double capable, combined with locally designed and tested Front Underrun Protection Devices (FUPD).

Th e Argosy Evolution now comes with a true heavy duty cooling system.

Th e Argosy now has up to 1800 in² of frontal cooling capacity. Th at’s an increase of more than 25%.

On top of all that, a new Horton two-speed Drivemaster fan clutch and new fan shrouds give the Argosy Evolution highly effi cient temperature control with improved operation and reduced noise levels.

Our exclusive swing out staircase promotes driver confi dence when entering and exiting the cab – statistically one of the most dangerous activities for a driver.

Th e fl at fl oor gives plenty of headroom for even the tallest of drivers, and with a dash mounted gear lever, cabin walk-through is easy and safe.

Th e view from behind the wheel is wide and clear, with a low, wrap-around dash design and large ‘remote control’ for excellent rearward vision. Th e adjustable steering, optional twin EzyRide air-cushioned seats, and easy-to-reach controls underline Freightliner’s focus on ergonomics.

Bunks range up to 51” wide with a twin bunk option in the 110” Raised-Roof Sleeper. A heater, ventilation and air conditioner which reaches every corner, combined with premium insulation, ensures you’ll be living and working in comfort. A woodgrain dash and studded upholstery throughout completes the luxurious feel.

Th is is a cabin which ticks all the boxes – it’s light, strong, aerodynamic, comfortable and safe.

Made of heavy duty lightweight aluminium, the semi-monocoque ‘Safety Cell’ designed cab helps lower the Argosy Evolution’s tare to impressive levels but it remains exceptionally strong, complying with Europe’s stringent ECE-R29 cabin strength standards.

Together with ABS brakes, traction control and an optional driver’s-side airbag it makes your drive one of the safest on the road.

Th e self-piercing “Henrob rivets” used to construct the cab are stronger than both spot-welds and cold-driven rivets for superior cabin durability.

Extensive wind tunnel and on-road testing has resulted in the measurable reduction in aerodynamic drag. Achieved through Argosy Evolution’s eye-catching 24 degree windscreen, ‘fl ow through’ visor, tapered mirrors, rounded external edges and computer-designed FUPD add up to a well appointed, fuel effi cient, premium built truck.

STAYING ON THE ROAD.Trucks have to stay active, so the Argosy Evolution combines the best in design with leading edge technology to minimise downtime.

Daily maintenance checks and fl uid fi lls are easy thanks to a front service panel which tilts up to 120 degrees, and the tilt-cab system provides wide-open access to the entire engine.

STEP 1: Activate the ‘cab tilt’ security switch on the dash ‘B’ pillar - highlighted here in yellow.

STEP 2: Position the yellow directional lever on the cab tilt pump as instructed, then apply cam ram safety stop.

STEP 3: Th en all you do is push the button on the cab tilt pump, which will raise the cab. When it’s time to return the cab to the driving position, just reverse the process and the rear cab latches will automatically lock the cab into position.

Asset–Hire Purchase

Th is type of fi nance product provides you with fl exible options. Finance agreements of this type can be structured with or without a deposit. Payments can be tailored to suit individual needs by opting for a longer term or incorporating a fi nal balloon payment. Upon completion of the fi nance agreement, and following fi nal payment, you will then have ownership of the vehicle.

Asset Loan

Asset Loan (commonly referred to as a Chattel Mortgage), is available for individuals, sole traders, partnerships and companies where ownership of the vehicle at the start of the fi nance agreement is important. Th is fi nance product diff ers from an Asset–Hire Purchase and Finance Lease in that vehicle ownership is

provided for at the start of the fi nance agreement, in exchange for security to be taken over the vehicle. Upon completion of the fi nance agreement and following fi nal payment, security over the vehicle is released.

Finance Lease

Th is type of fi nance product is a rental agreement off ering fi xed payments with the addition of a residual value payable at the expiry of the fi nance contract. Th is fi nance product off ers immediate use of the vehicle without a substantial outlay. At the end of the fi nance lease you can make an off er to purchase, re-lease, or upgrade to a brand new vehicle – the choice is yours.
