The Heat Shrinkable Joint is the Best Choice

The Heat Shrinkable Joint is the best choice when it comes to the joining of pre-insulated pipes.

The advantage of the Heat Shrinkable Joint is its elastic memory that enables the joint to regain its original

dimension after shrinking.

The Heat Shrinkable Joints are manufactured by HDPE material and have been tested according to EN 489.

Dimensions of the Joint:

• Dimensions between Ø90 and Ø1200 mm

• Wall thickness from 3 mm to 15 mm

• Standard lengths: 500, 600 and 700 mm – other lengths on request.

On Customer’s demand the Joints are wrapped in LDPE foil to protect against dirt and the sun.

The Joints are available with or without mastic.

Crosslinked Joint

Heat Shrinkable Irradiation Crosslinked Joint.

The joint is a fully irradiation crosslinked joint designed to be used with standard welding plugs. Crosslinked HDPE material provides the maximum strength in all conditions. Its sealing and adhesive layer provide 100% tightness The joint is fulfilling all the requirements of the latest EN 489:2009 norm (concerning the joint casing) and EN 253:2009 (concerning the wall thickness of the casing).

Basic Properties: - reliable material - precisely crosslinked PE-100 without any non-normative additives guarantees high-est mechanical strength in all conditions, - strong link - wall thickness compatible to casing pipe at all diameters, - no edges - joint made as the pipe section with w profile of annulus, exactly as the casing pipe - lack of narrowings and edges on the perimeter eliminates the uneven distribution of stresses, - easy installation - special crosslinking method speed up installation of standard welding plugs and prevent them from falling inside the joint casing, - always dry - unique sealing and adhesive layer combine the advantages of hotmelt adhesive and mastic. - full crosslinking - whole joint's surface is crosslinked. No weak spots.

Technical data: - maximum operating temperature - 50˚C - recommended surface preparation - degreasing followed by roughening - softening point of the sealing and adhesive layer - 144˚C (ASTM E-28) - shear strength of the sealing and adhesive layer - 36N/cm2 (ISO 4857) - peel strength of the sealing and adhesive layer – 87.5 N/cm (ASTM D-1000).

Heat Shrinkable, Radiation Crosslinked Joint is the only product on the market meeting below key issues: • Full material compliance with requirements of the EN 253:2009+A2:2015 standard, as it is made of PE100

class raw material. • Radiation level of over 40%. • The shape of the joint is identical to the shape of the jacket pipe of the pre-insulated pipe. • No need to centre the joints during its shrinking (using chocks for instance). • The range of manufactured diameters: from 90 to 1000 mm. • 100 cycles resistance in sandbox test as per EN 489:2009. Even without the hotmelt adhesive. • 1000 cycles resistance in sandbox test, as per EN 489:2009 method with the hotmelt adhesive.

Pictures show no deformations in the joints after 1000 cycles in sand-box test performed in HTC Veolia notified test lab.

High shrinking speed of crosslinked joints, compared to other solutions available on the market, resulting in time savings on the building site and the possibility to shrink them on their whole length, allowing their usage together with insulating halves or their cutting to desired length – e.g. in case of a typical connection near elbow connectors or tee-joints. Many years of experience show that the joints are extremely easy to assemble and very resistant to errors of installers.

Electro Fusion Joint (Sliding/Shrinkable joints)

Electro Fusion Joints are by far the Strongest Solution Available.

This system is designed to join lengths of pre-insulated pipes with HDPE Heat Shrinkable Joints by using a computer controlled thermoplastic welding process. In this process the joint and the pre-insulated pipe are fused into one uniformity length. By using identical materials for both joint and casing pipe, we ensure perfect compatibility.

The Electro Fusion Joint is certified according to EN489.

The Electro Fusion Joint is to be placed on the pre-insulated pipeline prior to welding of steel pipes. Both

ends of the joint are to be heat shrunk with delicate flame of gas burner, after prior installation of heating

elements on the jacket pipe. The joint can be used for all soil conditions, also in case of pollution with oil

products. Recommended for use in case of high level of ground water, large number of axial transitions,

acidic soils, waste storage sites, etc. The electro fusion joint can be used with constant ground water levels of

0..5 m above the top of pre-insulated pipe.

Additional accessories: During assembling of joints, components of polyurethane foam (PUR) are to be used. When ordering please provide information if the joint is to be delivered together with PUR foam

Valve Main Pipes

The Main Pipes are made of HDPE material. No other materials and liquids, that may have a damaging

impact on the properties of the sleeve, are used in the manufacturing of the pipes. The Main Pipe is used

for valves and branch pipes. It is supplied with a circular or oval hole and one or more holes.

We offer a wide range of dimensions and variety of Main Pipes, such as Valve Main Pipe excl. hole and

Valve Main pipe incl. holes.

Wall Bushes

The Wall Bushes are made of NR-SBR rubber mix, or, on customer demand, of synthetic EPDM rubber. It is

used for sealing of the horizontal passes of pre-insulated pipe, through the building walls. It does not form

a water-tight protection. In case of high-level ground water use instead our water seal system.

The Foam Pads come in sizes of 1000x2000x40mm and 1000x1000x40mm

Collars

Heat-Shrinkable Crosslinked Collars are equipped with hotmelt viscoelastic sealing. Easy and quick

assembly, thanks to the preform as ready sleeve. The surface is with a permanent change indicator

(in form of the dimpled backing) disappearing in case of appropriate heating.

Building Entry Bends

The Building Entry Bends comes in two varieties: Single Entry Bends and Double Entry Bends. We may offer

the Single Entry Bends in dimension 125 - 180 mm and the Double Entry Bends in 125/125 – 180/180.

Nevertheless, we can supply other lengths and dimensions on request.

From dimension 180 and up to dimension 450 the Bend is welded.

Water Seal System

Seal Rings for Water

W801 - Wall Entry Seal

Used when embedding round pipes in concrete walls and floors. Can

be used for all types of pipe material. The solution permits great axial

movements in pipes with a smooth surface. W801 is even adjustable af-

ter fitting and can be used on the inside or outside of the wall.

W802 – Water and Radon Seal

Used when embedding round pipes in concrete walls and floors. Suit-

able for all types of pipe material. W802 is used where the pipe will

not be exposed to major axial movement. W802 can also be used for

floor drain. W802 is available in dimensions 16mm up to 2000mm.

W803 – Repair Seal

Used where a leak has occurred between a pipe and a concrete

wall/floor. W803 is used for all types of pipe material. W803 per-

mits axial movements in the pipe and can be fitted on the inside or

outside of the concrete wall. The seal is fitted with a hose clamp

and clamping dogs that are screwed in place with expansion bolts

in the concrete wall for maximum durability.

W804 – Drilled Hole Seal

Used as a barrier against water in drilled holes in concrete walls

and floors. W804 avoids the need for any concrete pouring around

the pipe. W804 permits axial movements in the pipe and can be

used for all types of pipe material.

Sensor Cable

The Sensor Cable W3 is intended to be used for non-insulated pipes. Sensor Cable W3 can be used on both pres-

sure water pipes (drinking water), sewer pipes and drainage pipes regardless of material, jointing method or di-

mension. The system can monitor the long pipelines from only one detection unit.

Complete system

The new Water Detect System is a complete leak detection system with intelligent alarm devices, software and an

effective sensor cable – W3 – developed for high-precision locating of leaks before costly damage occurs.
