The new Optimat 3E offers a range of nine over-lays. The hinges are available with or without Silent System. The integrated Silent System can be adjusted with the innovative three tiered adjustment. The side and depth adjustment options via cam screw and the height adjust-ment via oblong hole bring big benefits. Doors can be adjusted easily and quickly in six direc-tions. Even after years of use, the doors can be easily adjusted. Solid wood doors warp over time and a larger reveal is required. The Optimat 3E makes this adjustment simple, a definite bonus for the end user.

The attractive features of the Optimat 3E include the small 11 mm cup depth and the prospect of a minimum gap between the door and the frame. The Optimat 3E meets and exceeds the minimum requirements of ANSI/BHMA A156.9 standard.

Position 1, Light setting for Silent System. Utilize this setting for smaller doors which require less closing force.

Position 2, Medium setting for Silent System. Utilize this setting for average doors which require a normal closing force.

Position 3, Strong setting for Silent System. Utilize this setting for larger doors which require more closing force. Position 3 is the factory setting.

Note: When changing the settings of the Silent System, move actuator to the desired setting, cycle the door 1 time fully open and closed. This will allow the Silent System to reset to your desired damping performance.
