An original design for a suspendedfitting that meets the lightingrequirements of multiple settingswith elegance and lightness: retail,wellness centres, industrial areas,accommodation structures and largespaces. Available in two sizes, withsmall and large body, Rib has beenstudied to guarantee maximumflexibility and easy use.

The careful selection of light sources,fluorescence and CDM-T lamps withbright emission and high colourrendering, ensures the correct lightingin all settings with high energy saving.The special component-compartmentcomposed of two aluminium shellsensures the easy execution ofinspection and maintenance operations,also when the product is installed.

Rib small bodyThe use of the compact fluorescentlamp completes the functionalcapabilities of the product withevident energy saving.

The increasing attention toenvironmental and energy issuesis translated into the careful designof high-performing products.Rib is a suspended luminaire thatensures very high light output andsignificant energy saving, thanksto the use of fluorescent andinnovative CDM-T lamps studied toguarantee high colour rendering withlow CO2 emissions. The lightingperformances of the suspendedluminaires satisfy the parameters ofEuropean directives that establish theminimum output values of the fittings:the models of the Rib range withdischarge lamps (HIE) have a LightOutput Ratio (L.O.R.) higher than 80%.

Especially suitable to meet thelighting requirements of shoppingcentres, Rib small body is equippedwith special filters that have beencarefully studied for food departmentsand retail spaces in order to guideand stimulate purchasing.In the food sector customers tend toassociate the colours and appearanceof food to its taste. Rib food filtersare extremely useful and effective,since they exalt colours, freshnessand taste of meat, fish and bread

products. In retail areas light playsa crucial role not only as a guide topurchase, but also for the protectionof garments and fabrics subjectedto unavoidable fading because ofpermanent exposure to UV radiation.The UV filter available for Rib blocks andeliminates the dangerous radiations onthe goods, which are enhanced andprotected at the same time. Rib is a highly functional and flexibleproducts for all types of settings.
