Is Yeshua / Jesus the Messiah? .

The Word of God was written so that we can know what the truth is.Through his holy prophets, God chronicled in the Bible numerous prophecies that have been accuratelyfulfilled and that will be fulfilled. There is no other book like the Bible in the world.

Starting on the 4th page is a tabular list of some of the numerous prophecies that Yeshua fulfilled with his firstcoming 2000 years ago, with references to other sources presenting more of the prophecies that he fulfilled.No other person, before or since, has fulfilled such a multitude of prophecies so accurately as Yeshua.

Because of his great love for us, Yeshua was sent from God the Father in the form of man in order to bepresented as a sacrifice to atone once and for all man’s sin: past, present, and future. The shedding ofYeshua’s blood at the cross made a way for the reconciliation of man’s relationship back to God; permitting adeep loving partnership in life, and in eternity, between God and his people similar to the marriage of a manand woman.

Yeshua’s first coming was foretold in Micah 5:2 and the details of Yeshua’s sacrifice when he was nailed to thecross were prophesied in Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22. When he died, his journey through “the valley of theshadow of death” was prophesied in Psalm 23. His glorious resurrection back from death was prophesied inPsalm 24. The tabular list goes into more detail with additional scriptures that were fulfilled by Yeshua.

Essentially, the name Yeshua means “God saves”. There are similar forms of Yeshua in the Bible, such as Jeshua ( י ש ו ע ) “Jah is help” in Ezra 2:36, and Jehoshua ( י ה ש ו ע ) “Jah saves” in Numbers 13:16. Avery significant revelation of Yeshua in the Bible is from Psalm 118:14, as well as several dozen otherscriptures in the Old Testament containing the word “salvation”:

“The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.” Psalm 118:14

The word “salvation” in the verse above in Hebrew ( י ש ו ע ה ) is “yeshuah”! Psalm 118:14 is saying that “The LORD ( י ה )(Yah or Jah)… is become my Yeshua”!Yah or Jah is a contraction of the full name YHWH.

The “full name” of God is י ה ו ה (YHVH / Yehovah or YHWH / Yahweh), and it first appears in Genesis 2:4and is more typically referred to as “LORD” in the KJV English translation:

“These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,” Genesis 2:4

The name JEHOVAH appears in the KJV English translation in several verses, most notably:

“And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty ( א ל ש ד י “El Shaddai” ), but by my nameJEHOVAH ( י ה ו ה ) was I not known to them.” Exodus 6:2-3

And especially this verse!

“Behold, God ( א ל “EL” ) is my salvation ( י ש ו ע ה “yeshuah” ); I will trust, and not be afraid: forthe LORD ( י ה “Yah” ) JEHOVAH ( י ה ו ה “YHVH” ) is my strength and my song; he also is becomemy salvation ( י ש ו ע ה “yeshuah” ).” Isaiah 12:2


Using the Hebrew letter pictograph chart below, God’s name י ה ו ה translates in Hebraic-convention fromright to left to mean: “the hand behold, the nail behold” or in English-convention from left to right to mean:“behold the nailed hand”! God’s name is revealing Yeshua! Perhaps this is why Rabbis of Orthodox Judaismchoose to refer to י ה ו ה as “HaShem”, or “the Name” because they say that י ה ו ה is “too holy topronounce”. However, maybe the real reason is that the Rabbis do not want people to make the connection ofYeshua being revealed in God’s name because that would mean Yeshua must be the Messiah!

One reason put forth by Rabbis of Orthodox Judaism as to why they have issue with Yeshua as the Messiah,is because of the “display of violence” when Yeshua drove the moneychangers out of the temple as presentedin Matthew 21 and Mark 11 of the New Testament. They say that if Yeshua was a fulfillment of Isaiah 53 thenhis behavior was inconsistent with verse 9: “…because he had done no violence…”, so why did Yeshua dothis?

“And Jesus (Yeshua) went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in thetemple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, Andsaid unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den ofthieves.” Matthew 21:12-13

Yeshua was only doing what the temple priests should have already done, to drive out the abomination (ref.the Deuteronomy verses below). To label what he did as “violence” is very subjective. The real question iswhy were the temple priests tolerating diverse weights & measures to operate in the temple? Yeshua said inMatthew 6:24 “…Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” The appearance of hypocrisy and filthy lucre are risksto be avoided.


“Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small. Thou shalt not have in thine housedivers measures, a great and a small. But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and justmeasure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveththee. For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thyGod.” Deuteronomy 25:13-16

9 Messiah's throne will be anointed andeternal.

11 A massacre of children would happen atMessiah's birthplace.

Jeremiah 31:15 “Thus saith theLORD; A voice was heard in Ramah,lamentation, and bitter weeping;Rahel weeping for her childrenrefused to be comforted for herchildren, because they were not.”

12 Messiah would be praised by littlechildren.

13 A messenger would prepare the way forMessiah

Isaiah 40:3-5 “The voice of him thatcrieth in the wilderness, Prepare yethe way of the LORD, make straightin the desert a highway for our God.Every valley shall be exalted, andevery mountain and hill shall bemade low: and the crooked shall bemade straight, and the rough placesplain: And the glory of the LORDshall be revealed, and all flesh shallsee it together: for the mouth of theLORD hath spoken it.”

Luke 3:3-6 “And he came into all thecountry about Jordan, preaching thebaptism of repentance for the remissionof sins; As it is written in the book ofthe words of Esaias the prophet, saying,The voice of one crying in thewilderness, Prepare ye the way of theLord, make his paths straight. 14 Messiah would be rejected by his ownpeople.

15 Messiah would be a prophet.

Deuteronomy 18:15 “The LORD thyGod will raise up unto thee a Prophetfrom the midst of thee, of thybrethren, like unto me; unto him yeshall hearken;”

16 Messiah would be preceded by Elijah.

17 Messiah would be declared the Son ofGod.

18 Messiah would bring light to Galilee.

19 Messiah would speak in parables.

20 Messiah would be sent to heal thebrokenhearted.

Isaiah 61:1-2 “The Spirit of the LordGOD is upon me; because the LORDhath anointed me to preach goodtidings unto the meek; he hath sentme to bind up the brokenhearted, toproclaim liberty to the captives,and the opening of the prison to themthat are bound; To proclaim theacceptable year of the LORD,and the day of vengeance of our God;to comfort all that mourn;”

Luke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord isupon me, because he hath anointed meto preach the gospel to the poor; hehath sent me to heal the brokenhearted,to preach deliverance to the captives,and recovering of sight to the blind, toset at liberty them that are bruised, Topreach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

21 Messiah would be a priest after the orderof Melchizedek.

Psalm 110:4 “The LORD hath sworn,and will not repent, Thou art a priestfor ever after the order ofMelchizedek.”

Hebrews 5:5-6 “So also Christ glorifiednot himself to be made an high priest;but he that said unto him, Thou art mySon, to day have I begotten thee.As he saith also in another place, Thouart a priest for ever after the order ofMelchisedec.”

22 Messiah would be called King, andwould ride upon an ass.

Psalm 2:6 “Yet have I set my kingupon my holy hill of Zion.”

Zechariah 9:9 “Rejoice greatly, Odaughter of Zion; shout, O daughterof Jerusalem: behold, thy Kingcometh unto thee: he is just, andhaving salvation; lowly, and ridingupon an ass, and upon a colt the foalof an ass.”

Luke 22:38 “And a superscription alsowas written over him in letters ofGreek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS ISTHE KING OF THE JEWS.”

Matthew 21:1-5 “And when they drewnigh unto Jerusalem, and were come toBethphage, unto the mount of Olives,then sent Jesus two disciples, Sayingunto them, Go into the village overagainst you, and straightway ye shallfind an ass tied, and a colt with her:


loose them, and bring them unto me.And if any man say ought unto you, yeshall say, The Lord hath need of them;and straightway he will send them. Allthis was done, that it might be fulfilledwhich was spoken by the prophet,saying, Tell ye the daughter of Sion,Behold, thy King cometh unto thee,meek, and sitting upon an ass, and acolt the foal of an ass.”

23 Messiah would be a sacrifice for sin.

Isaiah 53:8-10 “He was taken fromprison and from judgment: and whoshall declare his generation? for hewas cut off out of the land of theliving: for the transgression of mypeople was he stricken. And he madehis grave with the wicked, and withthe rich in his death; because he haddone no violence, neither was anydeceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased theLORD to bruise him; he hath put himto grief: when thou shalt make hissoul an offering for sin, he shall seehis seed, he shall prolong his days,and the pleasure of the LORDshall prosper in his hand.”

Luke 21:1 “Now the feast ofunleavened bread drew nigh, which iscalled the Passover. And the chiefpriests and scribes sought how theymight kill him; for they feared thepeople.”

Matthew 26:1-2 “And it came to pass,when Jesus had finished all thesesayings, he said unto his disciples, Yeknow that after two days is the feast ofthe passover, and the Son of man isbetrayed to be crucified.”

Romans 5:8-9 “But God commendethhis love toward us, in that, while wewere yet sinners, Christ died for us.Much more then, being now justifiedby his blood, we shall be saved fromwrath through him.”

24Messiah, in the role of the Passoverlamb, would be betrayed for 30 pieces ofsilver.

Leviticus 23:5 “In the fourteenth dayof the first month at even is theLORD’S passover.”

Exodus 12:21 “Then Moses calledfor all the elders of Israel, and saidunto them, Draw out and take you alamb according to your families, andkill the passover.”

Psalm 41:9 “Yea, mine own familiarfriend, in whom I trusted, which dideat of my bread, hath lifted up hisheel against me.”

Zechariah 11:12 “And I said untothem, If ye think good, give me myprice; and if not, forbear. So theyweighed for my price thirty pieces ofsilver.”

Matthew 26:19-21, 25 “And thedisciples did as Jesus had appointedthem; and they made ready thepassover. Now when the even wascome, he sat down with the twelve.And as they did eat, he said, Verily Isay unto you, that one of you shallbetray me… Then Judas, whichbetrayed him, answered and said,Master, is it I? Matthew 27:3-5 “Then Judas, whichhad betrayed him, when he saw that hewas condemned, repented himself,and brought again the thirty pieces ofsilver to the chief priests and elders,Saying, I have sinned in that I havebetrayed the innocent blood. And theysaid, What is that to us? see thou tothat. And he cast down the pieces ofsilver in the temple, and departed, andwent and hanged himself.”


25 Messiah's price money would be used tobuy a potter's field.

Zechariah 11:13 “And the LORDsaid unto me, Cast it unto the potter:a goodly price that I was prised at ofthem. And I took the thirty pieces ofsilver, and cast them to the potter inthe house of the LORD.”

Matthew 27:6-10 “And the chief prieststook the silver pieces, and said, It is notlawful for to put them into the treasury,because it is the price of blood. Andthey took counsel, and bought withthem the potter’s field, to burystrangers in. Wherefore that field wascalled, The field of blood, unto thisday. Then was fulfilled that which wasspoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying,And they took the thirty pieces ofsilver, the price of him that was valued,whom they of the children of Israel didvalue; And gave them for the potter’sfield, as the Lord appointed me.”

26 Messiah would be falsely accused.Psalm 35:11 “False witnesses did riseup; they laid to my charge things thatI knew not.”

Mark 14:57-58 “And there arosecertain, and bare false witness againsthim, saying, We heard him say, I willdestroy this temple that is made withhands, and within three days I willbuild another made without hands.”

27 Messiah would be silent before hisaccusers.

Matthew 26:67 “Then did they spit inhis face, and buffeted him; and otherssmote him with the palms of theirhands,”

29 Messiah would be hated without cause.

Psalm 35:19 “Let not them that aremine enemies wrongfully rejoiceover me: neither let them wink withthe eye that hate me without acause.”Psalm 69:4 “They that hate mewithout a cause are more than thehairs of mine head: they that woulddestroy me, being mine enemieswrongfully, are mighty: then Irestored that which I took not away.”

John 15:24-25 “If I had not doneamong them the works which noneother man did, they had not had sin: butnow have they both seen and hated bothme and my Father. But this cometh topass, that the word might be fulfilledthat is written in their law, They hatedme without a cause.”

30 Messiah would be crucified withcriminals.

Isaiah 53:12 “Therefore will I dividehim a portion with the great, and heshall divide the spoil with the strong;because he hath poured out his soulunto death: and he was numberedwith the transgressors; and he barethe sin of many, and madeintercession for the transgressors.”

31 Messiah would be given vinegar to drink.

Psalm 69:20-21 “Reproach hathbroken my heart; and I am full ofheaviness: and I looked for some totake pity, but there was none; and forcomforters, but I found none. Theygave me also gall for my meat; and inmy thirst they gave me vinegar todrink.”

Matthew 27:34 “They gave him vinegarto drink mingled with gall: and when hehad tasted thereof, he would not drink.”

John 19:28-29 “After this, Jesusknowing that all things were nowaccomplished, that the scripture mightbe fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now therewas set a vessel full of vinegar: andthey filled a spunge with vinegar, andput it upon hyssop, and put it to hismouth.”

32 Messiah's hands and feet would bepierced.

Psalm 22:15-17 “My strength is driedup like a potsherd; and my tonguecleaveth to my jaws; and thou hastbrought me into the dust of death.For dogs have compassed me: theassembly of the wicked have inclosedme: they pierced my hands and myfeet. I may tell all my bones: theylook and stare upon me.”

Zechariah 12:10 “And I will pourupon the house of David, and uponthe inhabitants of Jerusalem, thespirit of grace and of supplications:and they shall look upon me whomthey have pierced, and they shallmourn for him, as one mourneth forhis only son, and shall be inbitterness for him, as one that is inbitterness for his firstborn.”

John 20:25-28 “The other disciplestherefore said unto him, We have seenthe Lord. 33 Messiah would be mocked and ridiculed.

Psalm 22:7-8 “All they that see melaugh me to scorn: they shoot out thelip, they shake the head, saying, Hetrusted on the LORD that he woulddeliver him: let him deliver him,seeing he delighted in him.”

Luke 23:35 “And the people stoodbeholding. And the rulers also withthem derided him, saying, He savedothers; let him save himself, if he beChrist, the chosen of God.”

34 Soldiers would gamble for Messiah'sgarments.

Psalm 22:18 “They part my garmentsamong them, and cast lots upon myvesture.”

Matthew 27:35 “And they crucifiedhim, and parted his garments, castinglots: that it might be fulfilled which wasspoken by the prophet, They parted mygarments among them, and upon myvesture did they cast lots.”

35 Messiah's bones would not be broken.

Exodus 12:43,46 “And the LORDsaid unto Moses and Aaron, This isthe ordinance of the Passover…neither shall ye break a bonethereof.”

Psalm 34:20 “He keepeth all hisbones: not one of them is broken.”

John 19:32-33, 36 “Then came thesoldiers, and brake the legs of the first,and of the other which was crucifiedwith him. But when they came to Jesus,and saw that he was dead already, theybrake not his legs… For these thingswere done, that the scripture should befulfilled, A bone of him shall not bebroken.”


36 Messiah would be forsaken by God.

Psalm 22:1 “My God, my God, whyhast thou forsaken me? why art thouso far from helping me, and from thewords of my roaring?”

Matthew 27:46 “And about the ninthhour Jesus cried with a loud voice,saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? Thatis to say, My God, my God, why hastthou forsaken me?”

37 Messiah would pray for his enemies.

Psalm 109:4-5 “For my love they aremy adversaries: but I give myselfunto prayer. And they have rewardedme evil for good, and hatred for mylove.”

Luke 23:34 “Then said Jesus, Father,forgive them; for they know not whatthey do. And they parted his raiment,and cast lots.”

39 Messiah's blood at the cross would be thePassover sacrifice that saves us.

Exodus 12:23 “For the LORD willpass through to smite the Egyptians;and when he seeth the blood upon thelintel, and on the two side posts, theLORD will pass over the door, andwill not suffer the destroyer to comein unto your houses to smite you.”

Hebrews 9:12-14 “Neither by the bloodof goats and calves, but by his ownblood he entered in once into the holyplace, having obtained eternalredemption for us. For if the blood ofbulls and of goats, and the ashes of anheifer sprinkling the unclean,sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:How much more shall the blood ofChrist, who through the eternal Spiritoffered himself without spot to God,purge your conscience from dead worksto serve the living God?”Colossians 1:14, 20 “In whom we haveredemption through his blood, even theforgiveness of sins: …And, havingmade peace through the blood of hiscross, by him to reconcile all thingsunto himself; by him, I say, whetherthey be things in earth, or things inheaven.”

Isaiah 53:9 “And he made his gravewith the wicked, and with the rich inhis death; because he had done noViolence, neither was any deceit inhis mouth.”

Genesis 28:10-11 “And Jacob wentout from Beer–sheba, and wenttoward Haran. And he lighted upon acertain place, and tarried there allnight, because the sun was set; andhe took of the stones of that place,and put them for his pillows, and laydown in that place to sleep.”

Matthew 27:57-60 “When the even wascome, there came a rich man ofArimathæa, named Joseph, who alsohimself was Jesus’ disciple: He went toPilate, and begged the body of Jesus.Then Pilate commanded the body to bedelivered. And when Joseph had takenthe body, he wrapped it in a clean linencloth, And laid it in his own new tomb,which he had hewn out in the rock: andhe rolled a great stone to the door of thesepulchre, and departed.”


41 Messiah would resurrect from the dead,on the Feast of Firstfruits.

Psalm 16:10 “For thou wilt not leavemy soul in hell; neither wilt thousuffer thine Holy One to seecorruption.”

Psalm 23:4 “Yea, though I walkthrough the valley of the shadow ofdeath, I will fear no evil: for thou artwith me; thy rod and thy staff theycomfort me.”

Psalm 49:15 “But God will redeemmy soul from the power of the grave:for he shall receive me. Selah.”

Psalm 24:7-10 “Lift up your heads, Oye gates; and be ye lift up, yeeverlasting doors; and the King ofglory shall come in. Who is this Kingof glory? The LORD strong andmighty, the LORD mighty in battle.Lift up your heads, O ye gates; evenlift them up, ye everlasting doors; andthe King of glory shall come in. Whois this King of glory? The LORD ofhosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.”

Leviticus 23:10 ”Speak unto thechildren of Israel, and say unto them,When ye be come into the land whichI give unto you, and shall reap theharvest thereof, then ye shall bring asheaf of the firstfruits of your harvestunto the priest:”

Matthew 28:1-8 “In the end of thesabbath, as it began to dawn toward thefirst day of the week, came MaryMagdalene and the other Mary to seethe sepulchre. And, behold, there was agreat earthquake: for the angel of theLord descended from heaven, and cameand rolled back the stone from the door,and sat upon it. Leviticus 23:11-12 “And he shallwave the sheaf before the LORD, tobe accepted for you: on the morrowafter the sabbath the priest shall waveit. And ye shall offer that day whenye wave the sheaf an he lamb withoutblemish of the first year for a burntoffering unto the LORD.”

John 20:16-17 “Jesus saith unto her,Mary. She turned herself, and saithunto him, Rabboni; which is to say,Master. Jesus saith unto her, Touch menot; for I am not yet ascended to myFather: but go to my brethren, and sayunto them, I ascend unto my Father,and your Father; and to my God, andyour God.”

Psalm 68:18 “Thou hast ascended onhigh, thou hast led captivity captive:thou hast received gifts for men;yea, for the rebellious also, that theLORD God might dwell amongthem”

Psalm 110:1 “The LORD said untomy Lord, Sit thou at my right hand,until I make thine enemies thyfootstool.”

Mark 16:19 “So then after the Lord hadspoken unto them, he was received upinto heaven, and sat on the right handof God.”

Acts 2:34-36 “For David is notascended into the heavens: but he saithhimself, The LORD said unto my Lord,Sit thou on my right hand, Until I makethy foes thy footstool. Therefore let allthe house of Israel know assuredly, thatGod hath made that same Jesus, whomye have crucified, both Lord andChrist.”

Messiah will be a stumblingstone / rock of offense forthose who do not believe inhim and he will be a cornerstone for those who do believe.

Isaiah 8:14 “And he shall be for asanctuary; but for a stone ofstumbling and for a rock of offenceto both the houses of Israel, for a ginand for a snare to the inhabitants ofJerusalem.”

Isaiah 28:16 “Therefore thus saith theLord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion fora foundation a stone, a tried stone, aprecious corner stone, a surefoundation: he that believeth shall notmake haste.”

Psalm 118:21-22 “I will praise thee:for thou hast heard me, and artbecome my salvation ( י ש ו ע הYESHUAH ). The stone which thebuilders refused is become the headstone of the corner.”

Romans 9:30-33 “What shall we saythen? That the Gentiles, whichfollowed not after righteousness, haveattained to righteousness, even therighteousness which is of faith. ButIsrael, which followed after the law ofrighteousness, hath not attained to thelaw of righteousness. Wherefore?Because they sought it not by faith, butas it were by the works of the law. Forthey stumbled at that stumblingstone;As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion astumblingstone and rock of offence:and whosoever believeth on him shallnot be ashamed.”

1 Peter 2:6-8 “Wherefore also it iscontained in the scripture, Behold, I layin Sion a chief corner stone, elect,precious: and he that believeth on himshall not be confounded. Unto youtherefore which believe he is precious:but unto them which be disobedient, thestone which the builders disallowed,the same is made the head of thecorner, And a stone of stumbling, and arock of offence, even to them whichstumble at the word, being disobedient:whereunto also they were appointed.”

”That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able tocomprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love ofChrist, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is ableto do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto himbe glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. THE GREAT I AM

JOHN 18:1When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forthwith his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was agarden (near Mt. Olivet), into the which he entered,and his disciples.

2And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew theplace: for Jesus (in the bush of the garden) ofttimesresorted thither with his disciples.

3Judas then, having received a band of men andofficers from the chief priests and Pharisees, comeththither with lanterns and torches and weapons.

4Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should comeupon him, went forth, and…said unto them, Whom seek ye?

5They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth.…Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also,which betrayed him, stood with them.

6As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he,they went backward, and fell to the ground.

7Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? Andthey said, Jesus of Nazareth.8Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: (John 8:58 - “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.”)

8…if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:

9That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.

12Then the band and the captain and officers of theJews took Jesus, and bound him, 13And led him awayto Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas,which was the high priest that same year.


EXODUS 3:11And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I shouldgo unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth thechildren of Israel out of Egypt?

12And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and thisshall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: Whenthou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, yeshall serve God upon this mountain.

13And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I comeunto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them,The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; andthey shall say to me, What is his name? what shall Isay unto them?

14And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and hesaid, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel,I AM hath sent me unto you.

“…for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee outof Egypt.” Exodus 13:9

“…the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.” Psalm 118:15

“…thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.”Psalm 89:10

“Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and hisarm shall rule for him…” Isaiah 40:10

36Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: ifmy kingdom were of this world, then would myservants fight, that I should not be delivered to theJews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. 37Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then?Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. Tothis end was I born, and for this cause came I into theworld, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice.
