3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th grade Calling all artists! If you love creating art on paper and in the kitchen and using technology to showcase it, this is the class for you! We will do a variety of art projects and incorporate technology like Google slides to showcase artwork or green screens to create movies. We will also create some artistic appetizers that are easy and delicious!

DANCING THROUGH STORIES Shelby Rose
3rd-6th grade This class will explore classic fairy tales by interpreting their deeper meaning and discovering how figurative language helps shape those stories. They will be exposed to vocabulary in an understandable context. In addition to their reading and analysis, they will interpret the story through dance, thus connecting the performing arts with fundamental literacy skills. There will be teacher-choreographed sections, but there is also the opportunity for some student choreography. Students will need to bring comfortable shoes and clothes for dancing, but the stories will all be provided.
