What is it?
• The three dimensional arrangement of atoms in a molecule (i.e. covalent compounds)
• Determined by the bonding pairs of electrons (shared) and the lone pairs of electrons (non-bonding pairs)
• We predict the 3-D shape using VSEPRValence-Shell Electron-Pair Repulsion
